No Heroes Allowed: No Puzzles Either is Coming Soon to PS Vita

29w ago - Sony International Software Development Manager Tomoyo Kimura announced today that No Heroes Allowed: No Puzzles Either is coming soon to PS Vita.

To quote: Hi everyone! We are happy to announce that the No Heroes Allowed series is making its return in Spring 2014 as a free-to-play hunting puzzle game for PS Vita!

This is the fifth entry in the series, and we call it No Heroes Allowed: No Puzzles Either! Just as the name suggests, the humor (and 8 bit art) that the series is known for is back and better than ever.

Who said it was easy to be a bad guy?

As a "God of Destruction," you must use your evil power of destruction to defeat more than 200 quirky looking heroes in 64 levels of match-three puzzles. As you conquer levels and capture heroes, the heroes are banished to your dungeon, where they work for you to dig up valuable items in the mines that can be used as power ups during subsequent levels.

Also, don't forget to enter the "Badman's Lair" where you can use your evil genius to combine your choice of monsters, heroes and items already found through the game to create an even more powerful army.

Look out for more details soon, and stay evil!

Video: No Heroes Allowed is Out Now for PlayStation Portable

199w ago - SCEE Associate Producer Jan Kuczynski has announced today that No Heroes Allowed is out now for PlayStation Portable on PSN and has shared a fresh video trailer of the PSP title as well.

To quote: Just a quick reminder that No Heroes Allowed! goes on sale on PSN today priced at £9.99/€12.99. To celebrate, we've also got a new trailer which I've uploaded below.

And here's something for fans of the series - below are just a few of the new monster and hero types you'll find in No Heroes Allowed!

There are loads more mutations and rare breeds this time bringing the total amount of monsters well over the 200 mark.

You'll also notice Badmella, daughter of Badman and heiress to the Underworld - she plays a big role in this game (if only mostly to complain about the lack of mobile reception in the dungeon).

To quote: No Heroes Allowed! is all ready for its PSN release tomorrow, Tuesday, November 2nd. Who better than the game's director, Haruyuki Ohashi, to let you know all about the game's cool features as well as thoughts that went into its creation?

Haruyuki Ohashi, director, No Heroes Allowed!

With the third game in [Register or Login to view links] we had two goals. Firstly, we wanted to add new features to make the game more fun.

Secondly, we wanted to make the game more accessible to a larger number of players. On the gameplay side, we added water and water-based life forms.

We've also added a bunch of new pickaxes to choose from, from the Snoozerator to the Snacker Whacker - each with its own weird and wonderful special power. These new features add a new strategic dimension to the game and allow you to come up with your own unique play style.

Something else we've worked on is the difficulty level. We had mixed feedback from fans regarding the difficulty of the...
