I have decided to make my own NOR and NAND PS3 dump validator ! It is called JPS3DumpChecker !

Why ?

I mostly use Linux and I am tired of booting Windows only to validate a PS3 dump.

What is so great about JPS3DumpChecker ?

  • It is completely made in Java and will most likely run on ANY operating system. (Windows, Mac and Linux)
  • It will be Open Source
  • It uses the same configuration files as PS3DumpChecker by Swizzy for easier updates.

FAQ

Will it supports Dump Patching ?

Yes it will!

To quote: Deci3dbg - Ida Pro debugger module for PlayStation 3

It would have allowed me to use all those nice features like scripts, plugins, tracing, leaving comments in place, interface and hotkeys to which I am used to over the years.

Okay, I hear that someone of you is asking why I did Ida module and not some kind of gdb proxy instead, and...
