200°
23w ago - Sega of America Associate Brand Manager Aaron Webber announced today that Hatsune Miku: Project DIVA F 2nd is coming to PS3 and PS Vita in North America.

To quote: Following a fantastic reception to the PS3 and PS Vita release of Hatsune Miku: Project Diva F in North America and Europe, SEGA is proud to announce that we will be bringing Hatsune Miku: Project Diva F 2nd to the West later this year!

That's right. You're not dreaming. We believed in all of you and we asked for your support - and you gave it to us without reservation. It was your supportive comments, your encouraging words at every place we showed the game, and your drive that made all the difference.

Some of you bought the game twice - others three or even four times. But whether you picked it up once or four times, all of you helped make Miku a success, and still do. Thank you so much for that.

Now, it's our turn to believe in you once more.

This fall, we will be releasing Hatsune Miku: Project Diva F 2nd for both PS3 and PS Vita. Project Diva F 2nd features similar but improved gameplay over the first game, with a whopping 40 songs - a collection of the best new songs, and some of the most loved classic songs, previously...

Video: PixelJunk Racers 2nd Lap: Free Update Arrives Tomorrow

50°
212w ago - Q-Games Ltd President and Executive Producer Dylan Cuthbert has announced today that the PixelJunk Racers 2nd Lap free update arrives tomorrow on PlayStation Network.

To quote: Yes, finally PixelJunk Racers 2nd Lap is coming to PSN and we've had a lot of fun fiddling with the original Racers to bring it up to date with the other titles in the PixelJunk series.

Instead of going back and just adding trophies we decided to go through and give it a difficulty overhaul – making the game far easier than it used to be (we used to make these games pretty tough back in the day eh).

It is still a pleasant challenge of course but not the insurmountable cliff face it used to be.

Let me be the first to say this, but PixelJunk Racers is *not* a racing game - it is more like a PixelJunk reaction-based party game based loosely on slot-car racing.

There are all kinds of different rules to play with, for example in one rule all you do is hold the trigger down to "puff up" your car, release the trigger and your car flies along the track like a balloon, the goal is to get as far as you can without hitting anything.

We support up to 7 controllers and it makes for a superb game to play with friends around....

PixelJunk Racers 2nd Lap Hits PSP via PSN This Spring and More!

50°
233w ago - Q-Games Ltd President and Executive Producer Dylan Cuthbert has unveiled today news that PixelJunk Racers 2nd Lap is coming to PSP via PSN this Spring and PixelJunk Monsters Deluxe is heading to UMD.

To quote: I'm here to make it official and let everyone know that we will be releasing PixelJunk Racers 2nd Lap on the PlayStation Network this Spring.

So, to recap for those who haven't seen the various blogged reports on it, PixelJunk Racers 2nd Lap is a bit of a fan service really - we went back to the original Racers and added Trophies, but we didn't want to just stop there (just adding the bare minimum isn't really what we do).

So we added a whole new feature - ghost attack. What this does is record how you played whenever you register a new score on the high score tables, so anyone else in the world (including your friends of course) can play against you, trying to best your score.

On top of that we made the single-player tournament a little easier to complete, so you can open up the ghost attack and various party modes even more quickly (and of course gain those Trophies more easily too!).

Just to go on the record - this game *isn't* really a racing game. It's as much a racing game as, say, Rally-X was back in the day, really.

Final Fantasy VII: Advent Children Gets June 2nd US Release

100°
281w ago - Cloud and Sephiroth are ready to duke it out again, this time in a Blu-ray exclusive extended version of Advent Children.

To quote: The US release will be ready on [Register or Login to view links], and will feature full 1080p video and Dolby TrueHD 5.1 audio in English, Japanese and French.

Unlike the Japanese release, the US release will include a plethora of subtitle options: English, French, Portuguese, Spanish, Chinese, Korean, Thai, Arabic and Dutch.

In addition, the previously rumored extra features turned out to be real:

• "Legacy of Final Fantasy VII" Featurette
• "Reminiscence of Final Fantasy VII" Original Story Digest
• "Reminiscence of Final Fantasy VII Compilation" Story Digest
• On the Way to a Smile - Episode: Denzel Animated Film
• Final Fantasy VII: Advent Children Complete Trailers
• Exclusive Sneak Peek at Final Fantasy XIII

We're hoping the "exclusive sneak peek" will be playable, as it is in Japan, but we're not holding our breath.
