New Mercedes-AMG GT Launches Exclusively in DriveClub on PS4

1w ago - Today Volker Zaiss from Mercedes-Benz announced that a new Mercedes-AMG GT launches exclusively in DriveClub on PS4 with details below.

To quote: Hi, my name is Volker Zaiss and I work at Mercedes-Benz. What brings me here is the brand new Mercedes-AMG GT sports car, which I am proud to announce as the latest addition to the [Register or Login to view links] roster.

Even though the car will be released on the market in 2015, it's going to be available exclusively in DRIVECLUB as free DLC right after the game's launch. This is thanks to a close collaboration with the guys at Evolution Studios, who have been able to replicate the car in astonishing detail.

Well, despite not being as much of a gearhead as the engineers at AMG, who are responsible for the driving performance of the Mercedes-AMG GT, I also get a thrill from putting the pedal to the metal. When you hear the roaring engine sound and feel the power that thrusts you forward, it's truly addictive.

And DRIVECLUB does an excellent job of giving you that same extraordinary feeling. Experiencing the car while racing through beautifully rendered landscapes with the sunlight reflecting from the bonnet, and sharing in the excitement of racing...

Enter Insanity - The Binding of Isaac: Rebirth Hits PS4, PS Vita 11/4

50°
2w ago - Nicalis developer Tyrone Rodriguez invites PlayStation 4 and Vita fans to enter insanity in The Binding of Isaac: Rebirth which hits PS4 and Vita on November 4th, 2014.

To quote: Hello again! It's me, Tyrone Rodriguez, janitor at Nicalis, Inc. and producer on Legend of Raven (coming to PS4 and PS Vita) as well as The Binding of Isaac: Rebirth (coming to PS4 and PS Vita on November 4th!), which I'll be talking about today.

If you're not familiar with The Binding of Isaac, it combines elements of The Legend of Zelda and Smash TV with the roguelike genre. The Binding of Isaac: Rebirth literally features hundreds of items, weapons and power-ups all wrapped-up in an arcade-like experience.

And he said, "it'll be awesome to finally give console players a chance to experience the weirdest thing I've ever made." I've been working with him for two years and have to agree.

OK, so let's get into it.

The Binding of Isaac: Rebirth features over 500 hours of gameplay (not marketing fluff, it'll take you at least this long to unlock all the secrets in the game).

Each run will be different because the enemies, rooms, levels and drops are all randomly generated. Every time you beat the game or die and start a new game it'll be all-new and fresh.

Video: Destiny: Remote Play Hands-on for PS4 and PS Vita

2w ago - Sony Social Media Senior Manager Sid Shuman posted up a video today showcasing Destiny remote play hands-on for PS4 and PS Vita consoles.

To quote: Destiny is just days away! I wanted to share a quick video showing off its Remote Play experience, which enables you to wirelessly stream the game from your PS4 to your PS Vita.

I spent some time playing Destiny via Remote Play during the Beta and I was really impressed with not only how good it looked on PS Vita's vivid 5-inch screen, but also how responsive it was. The team over at Bungie actually optimized the controls for Destiny on PS Vita via Remote Play.

Check out the full control scheme (below).

One of the things we noticed during the week of the Destiny Beta was that a lot of PS4 owners were streaming Destiny to their PS Vitas via Remote Play.

In fact, Destiny was the No. 1 title for Remote Play during the entire month of July, racking up the most Remote Play sessions of any PS4 title.

Below are the details, to quote: "PSN is not functioning properly right now and according to Sony it has to do with the Minecraft launch. As you all know, it’s an extremely popular game that has sold millions on numerous platforms.

We reported earlier that people have been getting various errors and some were even seeing 0 games in their PS4 library. The multiplayer is also not functioning although you can see your friends list.

The PS4 is unstable and that’s entirely due to PSN, which is sort of scary if you think about it.
