Video: Life is Strange Episode 1 Out Tomorrow on PS4 and PS3

50°
57m ago - Dontnod's Jmax announced today that Life is Strange Episode 1 is out tomorrow on PS4 and PS3 platforms with a fresh video trailer below.

To quote: So in our last post we said that Apotheon would be launching sometime in January. Turns out we were off by a few days. Apotheon will actually be launching on February 3rd, 2015.

But, we've got a really good excuse! The reason for the short delay is because Apotheon will also be featured as part of Playstation Plus, and will be free for the month of February to all Playstation Plus subscribers for PS4!

Check out our new launch trailer showing off a bit of our voice acting talent.

The first episode that you'll play is called Chrysalis, and it's basically an introduction to the world of Life is Strange. You'll see Max and Chloe reunite and you'll make important choices that will influence their destiny.

You will see some of the short-term consequences of those choices but bear in mind that there are also mid and long-term repercussions that will pan out over the course of the later episodes, in a butterfly effect manner.

1h ago - Sony Senior Community Specialist Kristine Steimer unveiled the upcoming PlayStation Plus free PSN games for February, 2015 today!

To quote: This is a pretty awesome month for PlayStation Plus members with a variety of quality titles across PlayStation platforms entering the service.

On PlayStation 4 you'll receive one of the coolest games from last year - the critically acclaimed strategy/action RPG Transistor. PS4 owners will also get Apotheon, an action platformer set in Greek mythology, the day it releases on PlayStation Store.

PlayStation 3 owners can explore the ins and outs of Tokyo with Yakuza 4 or sneak about The City stealing what you can in Thief.

PlayStation Vita owners can see how many generations of champions it takes to beat the quirky Rogue Legacy and jump around as a little boy with a big gun (not so much for shooting enemies as it is launching you around) in Kick & Fennick, which is also releasing day and date in PlayStation Plus.

All of these games will be free for Plus members starting February 3rd. If you want to see these titles in action, check out the video below. When you watch, you may notice that the voice over has changed a bit, and my friend Ryan Clements is narrating instead of me.

He'll be handling the Plus communications...

22h ago - Frogmind's Teemu Maki-Patola shared a video today announcing that Badland: Game of the Year Edition is coming to PS4, PS3 and PS Vita platforms with details below.

To quote: Hi everyone! This is Teemu from Frogmind. I hope everyones' 2015 is off to an awesome start.

I'm excited to be able to reach out to you and tell you about our plans to bring our award-winning action adventure game, Badland, to PS4, PS3, and PS Vita this spring with Badland: Game of the Year Edition.

Badland was initially released in 2013 on tablet. It got a brilliant reception and has won numerous awards. Most important of all, it has been received heart-warmingly well by the gamers who play it.

Our original goal in making Badland was to create a console quality game for tablets. Back then we were a team of two with too few resources to enter the console market.

But we hoped to bring Badland here. Luckily, it did well and we can finally make this dream a reality. We've also got many requests for a PlayStation version from our fans. It's great to finally be able to say that it's coming soon.

Badland is a unique mix of innovative physics-based gameplay, creative level design, power-ups - from cloning to...
