Capcom explains Monster Hunter switch
Having previously been a PlayStation-only series, Monster Hunter 3 had previously been announced for development on PS3.
The PS2 and PSP versions of the series had to date sold over 4.5 million copies.
However, Gamesindustry reports that Capcom’s managing corporate officer Katsuhiko Ichii told Thompson Financial that: "Due to high development cost of titles for PS3, we have decided to switch the platform to which we release our Monster Hunter 3 title."
