Update: Dark_AleX discovered PSX problems in 5.00 M33 due to a bug in M33 code that is caused sometimes with certain icons. He stated, "I'm not gonna bother do an update only for this but I'll post the file that fixes this for anyone wanting to fix it manually replacing the file."
Notaz has released an update to his PSP compatible port of PicoDrive, a Sega CD and Genesis (Mega Drive) emulator.
In addition to the usual round of bug fixes, version 1.50 features several enhancements, including support for Sega Pico titles, as well as improved sprite rendering and optimized load times on the Sega CD end.
* Added some basic support for Sega Pico, a MegaDrive-based toy.
* Added proper support for cue/bin images, including cdda playback.
.cue sheets with iso/cso/mp3/wav files listed in them are now supported too (but 44kHz restriction still applies).
* Added bin_to_cso_mp3 tool, based on Exophase’s bin_to_iso_ogg. The tool can convert .cue/.bin Sega CD images to .cso/.mp3.

Dark_AleX has issued an update to the 4.01 M33-compatible plug-in, fixing numerous bugs along with adding support for UMD disc titles. Additionally, savestates can now be created on a per-game basis.
Keep in mind that PSPStates is compatible only with Slim units currently, due to increased memory usage.

The most significant new feature is savestate support. You can now save your progress at any point, via the Pause Menu (accessed through hitting the Select button). Savestates are written out to the memory stick, and consume around a megabyte per slot. You can load up a savestate at any time from the Pause Menu, or via the front end (hit the right shoulder button to swap from the rom list to the savestate list.)
Other than savestates, the most significant change in R13 is a number of optimisations to the dynarec core which should give a 10-20% speedup depending on the... More »
