The PLAYSTATION 3 computer entertainment system demo of Atari and Eden Games' innovative action survival creation Alone in the Dark: Inferno is now available on the PLAYSTATION Network.
Atari and Eden Games have given the title a blazing rework for its PLAYSTATION 3 system debut on November 18.

Atari has confirmed that both the PS3 and PC versions of FPS Legendary will be delayed until sometime in November.
However, the XBox 360 version of the game will be released on October 31st across Europe.
To quote: Amongst a number of other announcements, Atari has confirmed that it will release the XBox 360 version of Spark Unlimited’s upcoming FPS Legendary before either the PS3 or PC versions.
The mythical beast-based shooter will be released on Xbox 360 on October 31st in Europe, whilst both the PS3 and PC versions are now dated as simply ‘November’.
The same month will also see the release of the much-delayed PS3 release of Alone in the Dark, which will now be subtitled ‘Inferno’.
Atari has announced that Alone in the Dark has been reworked for the PlayStation 3 and will debut this November under the name Alone in the Dark: Inferno.
Gameplay elements including camera, inventory system, and hero control have all been retooled for maximum immersion and fun. In addition, Alone in the Dark: Inferno will include an all-new action sequence revealing a previously unseen enemy of epic proportions. A demo is planned for early November.

The new Xbox 360 Dashboard OS update is coming soon and it is going to be one of the biggest changes to the Xbox 360 since the system hit the market.
It is going to include the first complete redesign of the Xbox interface called the NXE by all the cool kids. The New Xbox Experience (NXE) is going to be the best thing to hit the Xbox and it is going to completely redefine how we use it.
One of the niftiest things at Penny Arcade Expo 08 was seeing the new Xbox dashboard. Xbox Live's own Major Nelson showed it off. He made sure to stress that it is still a work in progress and that there was an army of programmers over in Redmond that were cranking out code and testing it as he gave the demo.

New York, N.Y. – September 30, 2008 – IGA Worldwide (IGA), the leading independent in-game advertising network, today announced a multi-year agreement with Activision Publishing, Inc. to deliver dynamic in-game advertising into multiple video game titles on Sony Computer Entertainment’s PLAYSTATION®3 (PS3).
The first game to feature IGA integrated ads will be Guitar Hero® World Tour, the next installment in the best-selling franchise. To date, the Guitar Hero franchise has sold in excess of 22 million units worldwide, according to The NPD Group, Charttrack and GfK.
This landmark agreement, which also includes future Activision Publishing titles, is the second publisher deal announced by IGA since the PS3 opened its platform for in-game advertisements.

Developer Media Molecule's charming creation Little Big Planet was the focus of last weekend's 24-hour Game Jam at Parsons the New School for Design.
The reputed design school in the heart of New York City teamed up with Little Big Planet publisher Sony to host a competition with more than 150 students from different disciplines divided into 19 teams. The students had a single day with Little Big Planet to build the most creative level possible using Little Big Planet's in-game tools.

Looks like the French games company is targeting proven Sony stars. Their high-profile acquisition of former Worldwide Studios giant Phil Harrison took the industry by surprise. Many of us were shocked to see such a successful reign at Sony Computer Entertainment move to a company with a track record like Atari.
Today, it's been revealed that the gorgeous Paulina Bozek, creative director of Sony's popular SingStar franchise, is also finding a new home at Atari. She will head a new studio, based in Hammersmith, London, that will focus on developing other mass-market games for "online-enabled devices," including PCs and consoles.
"I am very excited to be joining Atari at this pivotal time for both the company and the industry," said Bozek.
