Notes: Tested with Blackcat v1.7, with hermes v4.b payload, and Gaia Manager v1.03.1 with Patch “ON”
Directions:
1-Format PS3 Hard Disk
2-Install GAIA 1.03.1 “BDRIPS.pkg”
3-Start GAIA manager, select “yes to all”
4-Toggle “Mem Patch” ON (Pressing L1)
5-Toggle “FTP Server” ON (Pressing R1)
6-On the PC, use a FTP CLIENT, I use Filezilla, put the IP Address “GAIA” says at the bottom right of the screen. Username is “GAIA01985”, Port 21. Place the White Knights Chronicles game folder inside “BDRIPS” folder.
7-When done, Toggle FTP Server “OFF” (Pressing R1”
8-Boot the Game, done.
Notes:
1-Formatting the hard drive is optional. Try to not have conflicts between managers and folders.
2-The game boots with or without disk. Without Disk can send you to XMB, just go to “*/app_home/PS3_GAME/” and select it.
3-When starting the game for 1st time in GAIA with MEM PATCH “ON”, it may say “EBOOT.BIN wasn’t found, do you want to fix permissions”, just select YES.
4-There some times that a message during boot to game tittle screen appears “The trophy list couldn’t load, press PS button to return to XMB” My guess it’s a random error. Just Try to boot again, some times I just disconnect the Ethernet cable or use a disc, and the error doesn’t appear anymore, that’s why I guess it’s a random error, could be me, I use a new PS3 unit, that never had connected to PSN and doesn’t have PSN account., cuz the error is during an online check for patches and trophy lists. Anyway, I had just saw the message error 4 times.
