Notes: I do not know if you need to install the game data with an original disk first, I have had mine installed for quite some time.
Problems with backup:
Does not work with */app_home/PS3_GAME/*, so play it with a disk in the unit.
Some voices are not played during movie scenes, that is okay as they have subtitles.
Biggest problem is that it locks up after the third cutscene, cannot skip it even. There are 2 solutions to this:
1) Make a character with an original disk and then save. Your character will load just fine.
2) The problem lies with the file:
/PS3_GAME/USRDIR/data/movie/en/ev01/ev01_0030.pam
To fix this problem, delete this file and replacing it with a copy of:
/PS3_GAME/USRDIR/data/movie/en/studiologo.pam
Just skip the third cutscene when you get to it and it will load the forth cutscene. This also shaves off over 440mb from the total size, so another plus.
There may be more bad videos, will have to play through the game to find them. Enjoy!
