Video: softGL v0.1 Graphics Library for OtherOS (PS3SDK)

254w ago - SoftGL is a simple graphics library for OtherOS and used with mc's PS3SDK.

For the moment is not optimized and provides the following functions:

Primitives:

• DrawPoint
• DrawLine
• DrawRect
• DrawCircle
• DrawCircleFill

Pictures:

• DrawImage (pointer to 32bit RGBA)
• Support for bitmap fonts (based on [Register or Login to view links])

I hate the System. Drawing namespace in .NET with a passion.

Seeing as this is quite similar, kudos to everyone who tortures himself with this SDK

All user with fat PS3 can use this, but this lib is not for linux it is for direct lv1 and it doesnt have special access to RSX.

It isn't for official SDK, is for scene's SDK.

This lib is for direct lv1 access, not from linux and I don't know the existence of any lib for the scene's PS3SDK.

This lib only draws in screen, for reading input is needed to program other lib.

i'd like to know about accessing the rsx under otheros also. and, does this library contain commands to read and process input from a keyboard or controller? or is it only able to display what is coded?

Nah, seriously, the things that this library can do looks pretty cool but I don't understand quite well the need of a new library; I'm not an expert but can't you do this already with the OpenGL?
