reported on the PS JailBreak Downgrade file leak, and today
Hansi of PSXCare.com (linked above) has followed up on some
previous work and shared a video of a PS3 downgrading with PS Downgrade and a Beagle 480 USB protocol analyzer.

One file is a PS3Key boot, the other is a PSDowngrade boot.
The PSDowngrade is supposed to be encrypted and not "analyzeable" according to a distributor. But maybe something can be learned anyway.

Perhaps give that software a try to peek into it more!
That's the hex file we need to reverse engineer. Once you have that, the data during downgrading doesn't matter anymore.
