143w ago - We posted up some PS JailBreak videos from
DynaModz yesterday, and today another Dutch site known as Consolewinkel.nl has shared a new PS JailBreak PS3 modchip video.
According to some of the captions in the video, Consolewinkel feels end-users should wait for a free version of the PS3 USB modchip as the PS JailBreak is overpriced.
To quote: "The Ps3 mounts the dvddrive with a backuped ISO file. Because of this the Ps3 still needs a disk to start the game.
Just want and get it for free ! We think Jailbreak software must be free just like the psp/wii and xbox software."
Those interested can check out the PS JailBreak video below courtesy of
ombouwwinkel via YouTube!
Possibly having a simple, solderable mod chip package added directly to a Sixaxis.
I was just thinking about that. The PS3 could be the next Xbox Media Center. It can already decode a bunch of codecs, has 1080p and 7.1 PCM output.
Wow, something to make my psp worthwhile again.
As long as the PC sees it in any way, it's good
So if they re gonna release a PC driver for it, there shouldn't be a problem to read whats in it after.
Wasnt recognized I think because it's just a device the PC has no information on. I'm betting special software will allow the PC to manage it. It's just like any other hardware u put on your comp, except that OS software nowadays recognizes quite a bit of hardware on first insertion.
