Cobra CFW Tools v1.18: WebMAN XMB Install, Custom Coldboot, In-Game Screenshot & 4.50 Certs are now available via bitsbubba with details below, as follows:

Download: Cobra CFW Tools.pkg / Cobra CFW Tools v1.18.pkg / Cobra CFW Tools v1.18a.pkg / PlayStationHome~IconSwap.pkg

To quote: I little something I whipped up: Cobra CFW Tools. with this you can install webMAN XMB v1.17 based on XMBM+ (aldostools' webMAN links) and concept from multiMAN XMB Integrated) with ★Install Package Files, REBUG's ★Package Manager or XMBM+ support, 4.50 certs (for ?safer? PSN), Ingame ScreenShots and custom coldboots by atreyu187 that I helped design. It's been tested on both Rogero (Cobra 7- Unofficial) and HABIB Cobra edition (any version). Choose what suits you.

Update: To keep up with Dean and his forever improving webMAN, I bring you v1.18 (the initial release was v1.17) only difference is this includes Dean's latest release of webMAN. Cobra CFW Tools v1.18.pkg- it's perfectly fine to install this over v1.17

Note: this app installs the plugins to folder "plugins" on dev_hdd0 which included boot_plugins.txt points to (good idea aldostools)

-Bitsbubba

Features:

  • 4.50 certs
  • Custom Coldboot
  • Cobra [Center]
  • Cobra [Full]
  • Cobra [Right]
  • In-Game ScreenShot
  • webMAN XMB v1.17
  • With Install Package Files
  • With Rebug's Package Manager
  • With XMBM+ Support

Tested On:

  • Rogero 4.46 (Cobra 7- Unofficial)
  • HABIB 4.46 Cobra edition (any version)

Cobra CFW Tools v1.18a

Update Cobra CFW Tools v1.18a.pkg to add Dean's latest updated webMAN sprx.

One thing that was pointed out to me was if Playstation Home isn't installed then the eject icon will replace it's icon. So I bring you the PlayStationHome~IconSwap.pkg which will take the PlayStation Home listing out of the PSN column and put it in GameData with the PlayStation Home GameData icon

Note: if you have PlayStation Home already installed on your PS3 there is no need for you to install the PlayStationHome~IconSwap.pkg as you have the correct icon.

It's still not showing up though ...

And you're recommending a USB Flash Drive to load up games that have files more than 2GB in them? I don't know how that is done. But I am getting filezilla since flash FXP seems to have a problem. Let's see what happens.

OK, I did it! I had put all the games inside the dev_hdd0/game folder. I should have CREATED a separate folder called "GAMEZ" and then added the games.

All the games are showing up ... Thank you Misiozol for trying to help me! You're awesome absolutely!

Instead of ftp them , try to use flash drive sometimes on ftp they get corrupted sometimes or attributes missing.

Hi Bro, Good to hear from you.

I tried that. It didn't work. In fact, all the games showed up within the XMB as "corrupted data" and I had to delete them.

I think it's because of the way I transferred files to the PS3 (not in PASV mode). I am trying that now and shall report back with any findings.

Thanks a ton
