The PSN Tool 2.0 for PS3 is Now Available from SKFU and iQD


179w ago - Today PS3 homebrew developers SKFU and iQD (with some coding by Pillum) have released their latest creation, a PC application they call the PSN Tool version 2.0 for PlayStation 3 users!

To quote: Yep, we are still alive guys! To proove that, today our public release of our newest creation.

The PSN Tool Feature list:

• Patchscan in 45(!) PSN environments
• Range & scan
• Direct PKG file download
• PSN Registration
• Store Collection
• User Info
• User Trophy Info

User Info & Trophy Info Details:

To use those features you require keyfiles. For doubts about the legal situation we won't include those in the download package.

To get information/trophies about the user of your choice, enter his/her nickname in the "Input nickname here..." field, choose the region he lives in via the table next to it (USA/EU/JAP) and press "User Info" or "Trophy Info".

If we find the time we may release an update as there still a lot on the TODO-list:

1) Implement PCPSN chat
2) Search patch by gamename
3) Show game rating
4) Official PS3 Store via PC
5) ...

Try searching NPEA
it gives psn games like super stardust etc

this app is awesome, will be nice for doing updates etc w/o have ps3 connected

try installing the openssl for 32 (Win32OpenSSL_Light-1_0_0a.zip). it really worked for me.

Although it seems that it only give hits when doing NPIA and range of 00005 and whatever.. and only two hits the at home and life.

I'm on the same set up and all I get is parsing xml errors, seems to be really buggy. If you do anything wrong you have to close down the app open it again

I found out how to do it!

I'm using Windows 7 x64. I installed open ssl for 64 and it didn't work. I installed open ssl for 32 and using windows directories for the files to be installed in and it finally worked.
