PSN Download Manager 3.80 is Released with Turbo Server Guide

151w ago - Just another few updates to PSN Download Manager, prior to recovery of the PlayStation Store. Today, I've released version 3.80 containing some of the following changes:

  • Added a premium membership option, which offers access to a huge feature called Turbo Servers and also removes the advertisement shown on startup.
  • Several minor changes to the code in attempt to patch errors for some users

Here is a quick guide to hosting your own Turbo Server:

Create a FTP or HTTP server using a relevant program like apache or filezilla,

1) Create a folder called DATA this will hold your shared files
2) Make sure to copy the exact file structure of your Downloads folder
3) For each file you want the clients to see, create a text document with the exact same filename, and add to the extension .ready (Include the word ready as text inside the file as well) | Example: 2782hsh7ggogpoyl.pkg would have a ready file of 2782hsh7ggogpoyl.pkg.ready

And then share your link to the rest of the world, who can now access them files from your server.

As for the clients to enjoy this feature, they just need to login as a premium member and add the server ip into there Servers.txt on a new line. (A small fee of 1.00 a month, to cover the cost of our main server and development time | Account sharing will not be tolerated and will result in blacklisting.)

Other changes, include a few memory leaks patched, several points of potential hanging (freezing for a short period of time) have been patched and reduced chance of corrupt file upon exit.

This file is downloadable via our site, through the links already provided including any old urls like http://playstationdm.zapto.org/ which will automatically forward you.

My colleague and I will be around to maintain this on a weekly basis until updates are no longer required, but I'm not sure if any software really reaches perfection tbh

Premium Membership accounts can be purchased via the my account tab, this will appear sometime within the next 24 hours on the website once our payment system is updated and accounts will be activated within 24 hours of payment. (Valid until subscription is cancelled)

We hope many people will share some of their upstream, and make the Playstation Network a better place to be; something where it can compete against the download speeds of rival consoles and make it the choice for gaming once again.

Have a good day,

Pixolia Solutions,
Jordan Dyckes.

Hi, I have some awesome news

The Playstation Download Manager 4.00 Alpha will become an unlockable upgrade, as the final release has been delayed until the PS Vita has been released (Due to development to support this new PS Product).

However I felt that people might enjoy some of the following features, to see what is coming:

1) Firmware Update Blocker - Working on OFW 3.70+ with PSN access for up to 2 weeks.
2) Automatic Updates for your games library - Selection isn't quite working, but downloads are.
3) Futher enhanced the reliability and success start-up rates, for those having errors first time.

Please note that this isn't the final product and it might have issues loading on some computers where as previous builds worked fine, as for those who can't get previous builds to work then this version should resolve that.

So by now your asking yourself, How do I start to unlock alpha access?

Simple, just follow these steps below to begin unlocking your access.

1) Visit http://pixolia.co.uk/ and register | login
2) Your IP address has been recorded, including the next two url's you visit (Tracking who earned access)
3) Go to http://awards.t3.com/wishlist/public/JordanDyckes
4) Vote for my Wishlist
5) Thank you, once a 1000+ votes have been logged you'll receive an e-mail containing the download link to the Playstation Download Manager 4.00 Alpha.

A big thank you to those who do vote for my wishlist, I always wanted a decent camera to pursue my interest in photography.

need help with this See the end of this message for details on invoking just-in-time (JIT) debugging instead of this dialog box.

When JIT debugging is enabled, any unhandled exception will be sent to the JIT debugger registered on the computer rather than be handled by this dialog box.

Yes, yes and yes. Used the ip on internal bat, i have even logged into my modem to check if the internal bat was correct and it was.

There were only 2 systems online, pc and ps3. the port is on 27.

still no luck,

I've just searched your error code on my Excel Doc, and it relate's back to an error I've also had before

The error code: 80710092 was caused by incorrect proxy settings on the PS3 (IP Address / Port) I double checked by
changing my console's IP Address to a random one and I got the same error code

Did you run the Internal IP.bat? There maybe multiple network adapter's, also is the port on 27 (Default)?

Best Regards,
