So basically what he did was made a "Backup Launcher" frontend with a menu so you can select from games on the PS3 HDD and run them. Of course this is only on a Debug PS3, but still it's damn cool to see!
The joint project I mentioned above is geared towards retail PS3 consoles, so this way regular people like you and me can get involved, versus just reading about what the PS3 Devs are doing periodically.
As mentioned in our recent Site News, there is a joint project that has been in the works for some time now, and very soon it will be made public so the community can help the Devs out as well.
Aside from that, several others are actively involved in side-projects (PS3 related) of their own so these will also tie into the larger picture as each shares news of their work publically.
PS: Last night CJPC showed me a really cool screenshot of something he's been working on via the Debug... I'm sure he'll post it soon enough (when he's ready)
is it possible to know encryption methods or keys even within the ram?
