PS3 PUP / Dev_Flash File Spoofer v3 Tool comes version 4 of my PS3 PUP / Dev_Flash File Spoofer Tool followed by version 4.1.

I upgraded my app with
spoofer_pup_repack.exe. It does everything like
spoofer_pup.exe but recreate a new PUP file with spoofed files for install to your PS3.
Remember, put your PS3UPDAT.PUP file and put this in command line of Cygwin (you can choose your version and image version):
./spoofer_pup_repack.exe 06.4000 99999
It must have the same number of digits ALWAYS, if not it gives you error on your PS3
./spoofer_pup_repack.exe 09.4000 12345 --> OK!
./spoofer_pup_repack.exe 06.4500 88888 --> OK!
./spoofer_pup_repack.exe 09.4000 1234 --> WRONG!
./spoofer_pup_repack.exe 09.40 12345 --> WRONG!
When it finished without errors you will see a PUP file named
PS3UPDAT_SPOOFED.PUP, simply rename to PS3UPDAT.PUP and install it in your PS3

It would be nice to install CFW on my OFW PS3 so I can copy a few things over like all my paid for PSN titles that Sony have now banned my account so I only have 1 way of using them, FTP via CFW.

Its to easy to use, only chose your PUP file, select syscon version and click on "Start", if all goes fine you will have a new file named "NEW-PS3UPDAT.PUP"

Finally, from Cyberskunk: Basicly this changes the firmware version in the info0 of the CORE_OS_PACKAGE.pkg so the PS3 thinks you are installing a higher CoreOS.. Same way the '999' Downgrader works..
To do do this you would need to exploit the OFW and try to stop it from checking the spkg_hdr.1 files or return success (if you had an exploit like this you could do a hell of a lot more than just installing firmware)
OR Some disgruntled employee at Sony would need to leak the private key for spkg_hdr.1 files. This private key can no longer be calc'd and it is not, never has been nor will ever be in the firmware. Sorry to burst any bubbles of people thinking it will happen sometime soon..

hope you can help ... thx my main objective btw is to log on to psn and download my locked saves from the cloud to my cfw ps3 and i just learnt how to ftp them to my laptop then use xploder to be able to use them
• Sign EBOOT.ELF in NPDRM with 3.56 NPDRM key
• Pack your homebrew in a pkg
• Sign that PKG with finalize_package
• Install it in your PS3
If you want i can do it for you, simply send me your files and i'll pack and sign them

mod almost finished everything is working accept pack manager xmbm+!!! somebody here who can help??? i really want to finish this off... got all files packed in to a pkg as an installer.... but i will release it first if packmanger is working!! help me
