246w ago - Recently, through reconstructing the PS3 HDD, sonyk has added some new details to the PS3 HDD Map we posted early last year.
Normally the infoboard files reside in the flash, and although it's still missing the subdirecties of user (as well as data, drm, mms, and vsh), those interested can check out the partial user directory available below:

Believe it or not, nothing has changed since my reply on this HERE, to quote:
I haven't been following what, if anything, they have been doing recently... but it's probably safe to assume if they made any major progress it would be plastered across DemonHades/Ifcaro/QJ/etc sites.
All of the progress done by our own PS3 Devs in recent months has been private, and thus far none of them want any mention of it anywhere (due in part to lamers like Pirate posting things without permission and then not removing them even when asked by those who did the actual work).
Well, it depends on the encryption / standalone program.
For starters, its usually not the FBI who goes off cracking things, its the NSA, they have tons of buildings full of "supercomputers" for just that, not to mention it seems anyone who works for them has multiple doctorates in all kinds of crazy math!
However, depending on the person, the algo's weaknesses / program backdoors may and have been disclosed to the NSA and agencies alike.
