As always, it's important to note that these PS3 Debug / TEST updates will currently NOT install on a retail PS3, and so it is intended for examination and comparison purposes only unless you own a Dev unit.
For those curious, running this updater on a retail PS3 will not damage it, however, it will give the following error before the installation completes: The data type is not supported. (8002F029)

So its happy to use GAMES for the internal HDD but not the USB HDD. I hope thats just a bug and they will fix it in the next release.

Is there a way to change to USB drive that I'm missing? I can only see games in my internal drive but the USB drive is blinking and doesn't stop. So far is a LOT faster than MultiMan which I like. Just wish there was a way to put more games on the screen at the same time. 4x3 is ok, but 8x4 is better.

So we decided to make it compatible with our CFW PS3ITA 4.21 DEX. In the future we will to the Italian translation of the manager and who knows maybe even adding some nice feature exclusive..
Ah, the manager is also compatible with CFW 4.21 Rebug mode and CEX and DEX.

v1.45 Changelog (Roughly translated via ps3ita.it/homebrew/iris-manager-v1-40-supporta-anche-il-cfw-ps3ita-4-21-dex/): The previous version of Iris Manager (1.40) and the recently released (1.45) have a bug that makes the most of the games hang Loading on cfw 4.21 dex. All this because of our small mistake in bringing the payload to cfw 4.21 dex. (Sorry for that)

Finally, in related news from KDSBest on PS3 Debug Games: Hi, the following is possible on a REX 4.21.
You first has to swap your kernel to dex, which may get you the error on trophy register error on some games. (REX has to fix this).
1. Decrypt the EBOOT.BIN
2. Use make_fself to create an SELF file
3. Replace your EBOOT.BIN with your EBOOT.SELF (It has to be renamed to EBOOT.BIN).
4. Boot up the game with multiman
5. Use the TM/Debugger of your choice.
Simple as that.
PS: If ps3usercheat in db just changes eboot stuff you can decrypt eboot. apply patch. reencrypt done!
You should be able to apply the ps3usercheat stuff in there on your own now.
