Copy/Extract the entire package to your USB drive (Optional: Copy the DumpManager.bat wherever).

Add the following firmwares into the 'Firmware' directory:

If this is a problem, feel free to rename it within the batch file

Once this is done all you have to do is run the Automator.bat and select the options!

Problems and Issues

  • Downgrade BluRay Playback Issue (description of NAND consoles and Factory Service Mode issues)

Finally, from MajorPSP156: BwE has made an automator for setting up files needed for downgrading. The simple script is placed on your USB and when run (in Windows) it gives you options to load Lv2Diag.self files, FSM .PUP's, Recovery Mode .PUPs as well as the copy and management of bkpps3.bin files for clients. The script also has md5 checking and other fail-safes.

The package itself is a 700+mb pack with everything, but that is yet to be uploaded. However, a version without the firmware files is available here: [Register or Login to view links] and can still be used.

Update: Automation for Business/Lazy purposes (via ps3devwiki.com/wiki/Downgrading_Firmware#Automation_for_Business.2FLaz%20y_purposes):

BwE has made an automator for setting up files needed for downgrading. This simple script is placed on your downgrading USB and when run (in Windows) it gives you options to load Lv2Diag.self files, FSM .PUP's, Recovery Mode .PUPs as well as the copy and management of bkpps3.bin files for clients.

The script also has md5 checking and other fail-safes. This saves you the effort of copying/renaming all of the .PUP's and Lv2Diag.self's that you would be using in a typical downgrade setup.

A version without the firmware files is available here (linked above) and can still be used providing you have the firmwares required, which is listed within the script. Condor Updater & QA Toggle is included in the .rar to aid with dehashing.

Hehe, isn't first the worst and last the best? Maybe not in all situations though...
