142w ago - Today the PS JailBreak team have confirmed via
xiaNaix (linked above) that an updated version 1.1 of the Backup Manager is coming soon which will include new features and tweaks.
Previously it was
reported that the PS JailBreak delay was due to a component shortage, however, this was also clarified today, to quote:
"They would also like to clarify that the launch delay was not caused by a parts shortage as originally reported. They are finishing their retail packaging and finalizing the new software."
Finally, the PS JaiLBreak team are assisting
Australian resellers who were recently a victim of an injunction by Sony, as follows:
"With the recent injunction in Australia, they have decided to stand behind their dealers and distributors with financial support. They have made a sizable donation to both OzMods and Quantronics to help support the cause!"

I have no doubt someone can RE the backup loader to unlock it for use w/ psgroove.. but why would the psjb people give it out today when no one has their device yet? seems silly I'm starting to doubt that any PSJB will make it to resellers.
Last Friday they confirmed they were shipped to resellers. As of today at 2pm EST , none of the Canadian Resellers received it.
I'm hoping it is today because I want a more compatible Backup Manager!
Well, presuming they're going to release it on the 15th, they can't be talking about China time, since it's already the 16th in most/all of China. Of all the reasonably populated places in the world the earliest time right now is 7:45AM on the 15th (in Hawaii, to be precise), and in the majority of America we're still looking at about half a day left of the 15th.
Regardless, I don't have particularly high hopes that we'll see 1.1 come today.
psjb will never be able to get there product sold to customers now that sony have bribed customs to search anything related to jailbreaking dongles.
