140w ago - Today I share with everyone what I call nXMB, it allows you to patch Dev_Flash for PS1 games and PS2 games if your PS3 is backwards-compatible (has 4 USB ports) in PS3 JailBreak Mode!

What is nXMB?
nXMB is a tool that patches your dev_flash to play PS1 Games (PS2 games also work if you have a bc-console) in JB Mode.
How to use nXMB? And What are its requirements?
Requirements:
• PS3 that is JailBroken
• DEV_FLASH from your PS3
• JaiCraB's
Firm Loader v0.3
Step 1: Connect via FTP and get your dev_flash
Step 2: Move your dev_flash and the nXMB into a new folder (NOT THE CONTENTS, BUT THE DEV_FLASH ITSELF).
Step 3: Open nXMB and let it patch your dev_flash
Step 4: Copy the contents of that dev_flash to your USB Flash Disk
Step 5: Launch USB Firm Loader
The PS3 will mount your USB flash disk as dev_flash
You will NOT see "Install Package Files" but instead of that you will be able to boot PS1/PS2 games and you will have access to your memory cards!

I spent a ton of money at the arcade for those games when I was a tyke......
I think If you just released what you knew rather than adding time to development by trying to hide what you are doing it would help the scene more and you will still be the one who invented the methods.
If you are worried about being ripped off there is no real point worrying (no money involved for one!) Fairly sure other Devs/hackers will copy and modify your work either way and you would gain more respect by being open and releasing source code like many other homebrew devs. Dont forget If sonys PS3 software can be hacked I think your FTP access block on dev_flash folder can be hacked too eventually!

The patch will be released before New Year! The patch will be obfuscated in an unimaginable way! DES and 3-AES.
It will be in the form of the current nXMB. Each dev_flash will be tied to your PS3 Serial Number, PS3ID, and your OWN special license!
After patching, the dev_flash will become in the format of .nxmb, the dev_flash will also be encrypted in an extraordinary way. And only my homebrew program will be able to decrypt it. The homebrew won't be signed as npdrm, so it will be nearly impossible to decrypt the eboot.bin
The homebrew will RESTRICT any access to dev_flash through the ftp server!
I also can guarantee you that otheros will be possible on 3.41>, even on slim's too! Talk about intergrating a custom hypevisor. Full Peek-Poke directly from xmb will also be available and much more!
I will post a video next week of me playing PS1 backups and otheros on slim. Expect a CFW too by that time! It will have the cex but encrypted too as .nxmb
