109w ago - MultiMAN version 01.17.01 update is now released and can be updated within the PS3 homebrew application itself or from the download links below.

multiMAN v01.17.01 changelog:

Interface update
Simplified and cleaner look
Slick and professional feel
Link XMB VIDEO files to Showtime option in "System Menu"
Launch Showtime option in "System Menu"
Game options: press SQUARE
System menu: press TRIANGLE
Updated version of SHOWTIME MEDIA PLAYER (codepages Windows-1250 and 1251)
"Favorites" menu in next version
Themes must be updated to reflect latest changes
More options added in COLOR.INI for theme creators
user_font added in COLOR.INI for theme creators
game_bg_overlay added in COLOR.INI
"Cover not available" cover in some display modes
"[O] Save" in submenu changed to "[O] Back"
Updated the "Original theme" to reflect the recent changes

This is for the update: Simple and more user-friendly interface, better look and easier to use.

This weekend an anonymous PlayStation 3 developer has made available a MultiMAN v04.01.00 DEX Update Mod (20120204) PKG for those who own PS3 Debug / Test consoles and wish to enable game back-ups on it.

To quote: You need to install the mmCM v04.01.00 released yesterday first on your DEX, then run this UPD PKG to get multiMAN to now run & play games from your HDD

This makes the mmCM function as normal multiMAN on DEX machines running 3.55 just like on CEX, but of course without the Cobra exclusive functions!

Not much more can be said about this release, but it seems to work on QA flag'ed CEX machines also thanks to LV2_Loader and the previous dexl0ve posting

Showtime PS3 Media Player Version 3.5.003.ge7371.dirty (February 4th, 2012) compiled for multiMAN.

Save the downloaded file as: /dev_hdd0/game/BLES80608/USRDIR/SHOWTIME.SELF

• Added: XMB videos and last folder visible in Showtime
• Added: Return to multiMAN when using the EXIT icon in to top right corner of main Showtime Interface

Since version 02.05.00 of multiMAN you can update your SHOWTIME within multiMAN, by going to XMMB Video tab -> Press [TRIANGLE] while "Start Showtime" is selected -> Update.

You can also update your showtime.self by deleting it from multiMAN's USRDIR folder and play a video - you'll be prompted to download the updated version. Be advised that in multiMAN versions 04.00.00+ SHOWTIME.SELF is located under USRDIR/sys folder.
