MultiMAN v01.16.07 OBM PS3 Mod Arrives with Fixes and More!

175w ago - MultiMAN OBM PS3 Mod version 01.16.07 is now released via update or from the first post and includes several bug fixes among the changes detailed below.

Here we go with: multiMAN ver 1.16.07 MEGA (20110306_190000) (299.96 MB) (1431 covers) (41 themes)

Available now and first post updated with links to all versions for firmwares 03.40-03.55.

MultiMAN 01.16.07 Changelog:

  • Added: last selected/launched game remembered for next MM start
  • Added: parental control to File Manager (launching EBOOT.BINs)
  • Added: "restart" command to control console
  • Added: support for games without PIC1.PNG (using PIC0.PNG)
  • Fixed options.ini parsing (for lock_display_mode)
  • Fixed lock after multiple NTFS->FAT mode switching
  • Fixed lock when starting game EBOOT.BINs directly from File Manager
  • Removed prompt/requirement for BD game disc when launching BSG games
  • Added: [START]+[R2] to screen capture in RGB RAW format (to /dev_hdd0 or usb)
  • Added: support for games without PIC0/1/2.PNG (delete cache folder)
  • Added: "launch" pkg files from File Manager (install manually from XMB)
  • Added: Refresh/delete/copy won't change currently selected game in the list
  • Fixed: shadow copy function in File Manager ([R3])

Nice, top work, thanks again, looking forward to anything else you do with this.

One final thing (for now!), as and when we update, what happens to everything we've already put under the \GAMES\, it doesn't get wiped does it ?

The program will detect these titles and will display them in the menu. If you activate one of them it will automatically rename it and will save the current name, so don't worry - it will work.

OK, so on one of my USB drives I've got the following structure :

F:\AVCHD
F:\AVCHD_TitleX
F:\AVCHD_TitleXX
F:\AVCHD_TitleXXX

etc. When I want to watch something I obviously just remove the underscore and everything after it. Does this now, in essence, do that for me without altering the file structure ? I.e. you know longer need an AVCHD folder at the root of the USB drive ?

#vstace: No, not a concept. Browsing works for both panes. COPY/DELETE/RENAME will be in the next update.

One thing, when you connect a USB device, full of AVCHD folders do they have to be named something specific or does it scan and recognise via another method ?

Also, are the AVCHD folders mountable/playable via the internal HDD (obviously this is the main annoyance with AVCHD - not getting DTS/24p/Subs etc if played off internal)

It will look for INDEX.BDM in your USB devices ROOT+ONE_FOLDER_DEEP paths, no matter what they are named.

No, it is not possible to play AVCHD from the internal disk. Not unless some tweaks are made in XMB xmls and some other files.
