179w ago - Today PlayStation 3 homebrew developer deank has updated multiMAN PS3 Game Backup Manager to version 02.04.00 for Custom Firmware users followed by a few updates that include a Side Menu and Wallpaper Support below.

multiMAN PS3 Game Backup Manager v02.04.00 Changelog:

  • Added: Display of embedded JPEG images in MP3 files for XMMB Music column
  • Added: Pulsing of selected entry/title in XMMB display mode
  • Added: Czech, Hungarian, Catalan, Galician and Indonesian languages
  • Added: Other various tweaks and changes
  • multiMAN LOGO Contest Winner: TheForce
  • Cover server updated with latest 2644 game covers
  • Changed "Download Themes" server back to my primary one

multiMAN v02.04.00 Update (20110822-011300) Changes:

  • XMMB Settings Column -> "Theme Audio" -> "Music" - random playback of audio tracks at startup
  • XMMB Mode -> [TRIANGLE] opens SIDE menu for PHOTO, MUSIC, VIDEO and RETRO columns

multiMAN v02.04.00 Update (20110822-172200) Changes:

  • UPDATE (Showtime) when "Start Showtime" is selected in VIDEO column (initiates download of SHOWTIME.SELF)
  • REFRESH: to refresh content for PHOTO, MUSIC and RETRO columns
  • FILE MANAGER: to open the folder of the selected entry (picture, music, video, rom) in File Manager

There are two new labels for language files (translators attention):

  • Set as Wallpaper
  • Restore Wallpaper

Finally, those who prefer another type of logo can replace it in multiMAN's folder as: MMLOGO1.PNG (408x180 pixels)

Well i have to say that i am confused. I read here a while back about loading and running split file games from an external HDD. So how i finally got around to trying it out but when i go to BD-ROM Emulator the only options i have are none, (Unavailable) and standard. So what am i missing here? IIRC it said to enable hermes Emulation so do i have to also install hermes or am i missing a setting somewhere.

Hi guys, one question with the recent updates of Cobra USB is there a way to get PSP game support for Multiman like they have it in the dongle ?!? I would try to code it myself but I suck in math

But my goal is to make shadow copy so I can launch games from the original XMB.. I already have the pakage for my games installed (they are already visible in the xmb) I just need to point them to the games in the back-up filder..

All tutorials say that you have to press R3 to make a shadow-copy but nothing happens when I do so..

Would be interesting to analyze decrypted EBOOT's of ps2 games that runs on all consoles (including slims) and where downloaded from PSN against there original EBOOT.ELF's from PS2 game disks.

No. Its for the consoles that already support PS2 games to enable games that used the PS2 HDD to work. It has nothing to do with adding PS2 support to slims.

There is a update on psn called ps2 system data. its about 6 meg in size. What it does is enable the recognition of ps2 games.

There are many feed on youtube that state this works on all models including the slim. I don't know if this is true. If it doesn't it could me made to work by modifying it.
