From his site (linked above) on the PC application: It's a remote game mounter for PS3 DEX consoles. Requires the ProDG Target Manager to work. A x64 version is also available.

Finally, in related PlayStation 3 homebrew news andbey0nd has also released RCP_BDEMU v1.00 which essentially is a faster way to manage games on PS3 DEX consoles.

Download: [Register or Login to view links] / [Register or Login to view links]

From the author: Here is a separate standalone tool to serve the BDEMU communication on the PC side. It is small, fast and command-line type and will be included in mmDM 02.01.00 by aldo. It loads the BDEMU games in mM virtually at mM startup, mounts the games in 3-4 seconds and displays debug information in the command window.

[Register or Login to view code]

It requires that you pass the IP address of your PS3 as a parameter. You can pass a number for the number of BDEMU partitions as second parameter - the default is 4 (0..3).

Update: RCP_BDEMU v2.00 (10/15/2012) is now available (linked above) via deank with the following changes:

[Register or Login to view code]

If you don't set input parameters (IP and number of partitions) rcp_bdemu will try to auto-detect the IP and will assume 10 slots, but that only works if your PS3 is currently in "System Software Mode", otherwise you'll have to provide your PS3 IP address when you start rcp_bdemu.exe.

Download: [Register or Login to view links] (37.73 MB) / [Register or Login to view links] (Mirror) / [Register or Login to view links] (41.17 MB) / [Register or Login to view links] (Mirror) / [Register or Login to view links] (37.73 MB) / [Register or Login to view links] (41.18 MB - StealthMAN 04.65.02 - 20141116) / [Register or Login to view links] (WebMAN 1.31 for Cobra Firmwares) / [Register or Login to view links] (WebMAN 1.31 for standard CFWs) / [Register or Login to view links] (WebMAN 1.31 CCAPI Compatible) / [Register or Login to view links] (7.18 MB) / [Register or Login to view links] (7.24 MB) / [Register or Login to view links] (1.35 MB) / [Register or Login to view links] via A C / [Register or Login to view links] (61.42 MB) / [Register or Login to view links] via A C / [Register or Login to view links] (Create PKGs) via brunolee / [Register or Login to view links] by ZOMBIEKILLAH

From deank: multiMAN 04.65.01 is now available online (to update from within mM).

MultiMAN v04.65.01 CEX (Base) Changelog:

  • Added support for 4.65CFW (CEX)

Finally, to recap: MultiMAN combines Open Manager, mmOS File Manager and AVCHD for an all in one solution. It allows users to run backups, watch AVCHD videos and manage there files.

Formerly known as AVCHD and Game Manager, it is now being called multiMAN. The word multi is essential to this manager due to it's multifunctional tools. multiMAN does more then just backup games to your PS3.

MultiMAN supports 3.55 CEX/DEX, 4.21 CEX/DEX, 4.30 CEX/DEX, 4.31 CEX, 4.40 CEX/DEX, 4.41 CEX/DEX, 4.46CEX, 4.46DEX (REX), 4.46 CEX+COBRA 7.0, 4.50 CEX/DEX, 4.53CEX, 4.53 CEX+COBRA 7.0, 4.55 CEX/4.55 CEX+COBRA 7.0, 4.60 CEX/DEX, and 4.65 CEX.

StealthMAN v4.65.01 FAQ:

Why is this Stealth?

  • It is not present in XMB (not present in /dev_hdd0/game/*)
  • Each time the /app_home (* Install Package Files) gets different TITLE ID and TITLE NAME
  • Every time you load a game it will change the TITLE of /app_home thus not looking suspicious
  • You can use mM while your XMB looks totally OFW (with no homebrew installed which may be detected)

How to Install:

Method #1:

  • Copy installPKG.pkg and report_data.txt to the root of a USB stick/drive
  • Install "installPKG", reboot, install from the bubble
  • Start [* Install Package Files] standalone app from the icon in XMB (not from /app_home)
  • It should look as in the screenshot
  • Press [START] to "Update and Load Stealth multiMAN"

Method #2:

  • Rename report_data.txt to anyFileName.self and Copy to USB stick or PS3 HDD
  • Use multiMAN mmOS, locate the file and double-click on i
  • mM stealth will install and start

Once you booted stealth mM at least once you can safely delete the 'regular' mM from XMB if you wish. You can delete the standalone [* Install Package Files] application from XMB if you wish.

How to load the stealth multiMAN:

1) Restart your PS3
2) Go go /app_home (which will change to the last game you loaded or to [* Install Package Files]) and press [X]
3) If you hold [SELECT] pressed it will load stealth multiMAN directly.
The updated [* Install Package Files] supports the stealth multiMAN and you can launch it by pressing [SELECT].

The stealth multiMAN supports online update which doesn't require PKG file installation and is a seamless process.

Update: MultiMAN ver 04.65.02 BASE CEX (20141116) PKG

From deank: 4.65 support for "Direct-Disc-Access" is now added to multiMAN 04.65.02. You should be now able to access all types of optical discs, that includes PS1 game discs, PS2 discs (to backup/convert to "classics"), AVCHD discs (for playback in Showtime) or Blu-ray (to backup and later decrypt on a PC), including any DATA CD/DVD with music/movies.

multiMAN ver 04.65.02 BASE CEX (20141116).pkg (37.73 MB) which includes support for CFW 4.65 is also added to webMAN 1.31 (linked above).

By the way, for the last month I compiled several different releases of Showtime, but they all fail to work properly - always giving the dreaded "Unable to open Cell codec", which makes playback impossible. Hopefully andoma will fix this.

CELL_VDEC_ERROR_FATAL 0x80610180 Fatal error occurred with the decoder itself.

CELL_VDEC_ERROR_FATAL indicates that an error having to do with the decoder itself occurred. For example, this error will occur if a data structure inside the decoder required for the decoding process becomes inconsistent due to an unknown reason and decoding cannot be continued.

Statuses other than CELL_VDEC_ERROR_FATAL indicate that an unexpected error occurred with the OS or library used inside the decoder. In such cases, too, the decoding process cannot be continued. CELL_OK will never be returned for the status.

It is my/vanilla webMAN with changes for 4.65. It is not updated with the MOD-stuff.

I'll post SHOWTIME 4.7.494 in bit. I managed to find the issue after 5 hours of compiling and testing. { andoma : ps3_vdec.c / spu_threads = 3;

Right now only in mmcm mode mate but I am working on this myself

I have worked on this for days but all I will say is if you figure out how I did this you will gain partial access to MM as the last part you need to figure out on your own. It's alot of work n takes time to understand how it works and digging through many files. But will pay off

It happens before i must swap discs.
