Below are the changes, to quote from the list: FBANext PS3 - Custom build v2 - FIXED - r417

CHANGES (as of r417):

  • Resolution switching in Settings menu - select resolution with left and right on D-pad and press X to switch to the resolution.
  • Much better framerate due to audio tweaking - now stays within the 59.900 ballpark and beyond instead of hovering somewhere between 59.200 and 59.900.

Try installing the "r486" version before you install the "r490" version.

Here ([Register or Login to view links]) is the "r486" version.

r490 and r486 Does not work under REBUG 3.55 on my PS3 60 gb FAT. Gives me a black screen a freez the hole PS3 , I have to hold in power on button to shout it down. Anyone else on Rebug 3.55 that have the same problem with the new versions of this emulator??

If you are on REBUG 3.55 and r490 works for you, can you please zip the folder FBAN00000 and upload it to multiupload.com so I may get it.

Thx

Versions r470 and r478 works just fine on REBUG, but i want the new ones to work too

FBA-NEXT-SLIM - Commit 682f9ce1bdbf9514ab5ab451508e7251acd6a0b4

Lots of improvements made since the last version I posted.

FBO mode is not currently hooked up. Although you can select 2 shaders in the settings, only the first is enabled.

Please Note: Twinaphex has now configured FBA to use a plaintext CFG file instead of XML in the old versions.

If your roms are stored anywhere other than the default of "/dev_hdd0/game/FBAN00000/USRDIR/roms", You will need to edit /dev_hdd0/game/FBAN00000/USRDIR/fbanext-ps3.cfg.

This version should also fix the black screen crash / issue some people have been having.

This version should work fine as I installed it on my PS3 last night.

is there any way to set FBAnext to not show every revision or country version of a game? I have the full rom set and I know I could just delete the unwanted sets but with the naming scheme and the amount of them it would take forever.
