PS3 Firmware v3.55 there is no sense in keeping the master key a secret any more - it has been released, along with unencrypted payloads, and a promise to release the source-code by PS3YES for a free
PSGrade PS3 downgrader.

Of note, the downgrade hex will only work on PS3's with a firmware of 3.50 or below.
The same team which brought the PSN spoof for online support of jailbreaks now has also brought us a Free Downgrade HEX for the PS3! PS3YES has released un-encrypted HEX files for downloading.
They promise open-source code to be release soon, but find below pre-compiled HEX files:

When the console is booted the green light will flash and stay on for eternity which is the PS3's way of saying that there is a failure.
The downgrader payload only puts the ps3 into service mode.
The other files do the actual downgrading.
That's the only part that's confusing me...
My dongles rely on PSgroove code - they work fine for everything other than DGing.
Lets hope my E3 don't get lost on it's way from the sunny u.s of a. Comes to something when it's cheaper to buy from abroad than your own country because people here (UK) are just greedy. 98% of them are dropshipping for chinese companies just to make easy £££ & charge you DOUBLE of what the item costs just cos they're UK based supplier...
I don't mind waiting for my goodies. Keeps me excited til it turns up

Turns out 2.15 debug doesnt even launch, it just makes the green light flash (meaning the whole process will come up as FAILURE in the log)
