127w ago - Today French site PS3Gen (linked above) reports that the anonymous coder who brought us PS3SX and GenesisPlus GX PlayStation 3 emulators is now working on an NDS3 Nintendo DS emulator (DeSmuME port) for PS3 JailBreak users.
To quote, roughly translated: After a night's work, he offered us an exclusive alpha version of its emulator Nintendo DS based on DeSmuME.
The emulator is currently in testing phase but you can play 2D games like Yoshi's Island with good fluidity. Anonymous is working on compatibility and accelerate 3D games as well as the inclusion of sound.
It will also add a pointer to use the tactile features games, knowing that for now the L3 button enables a pressure on the screen, which is quite useful when a game requires to support it. Backups are functional and a menu selection opens ROMs when the button is pressed R3 to change the game without having to restart the emulator.
Anonymous wants to improve his first emulator before distributing it.

Oh man I've been checking the post every day for news like this and its finally here (well almost), I'm no programer but it would be awesome if you could stream the touch screen to an android phone or device using WiFi or Bluetooth but i don't even know if that's possible but it would be really cool.
Today PSX-Scene shared an updated demo video of the PS3 Nintendo DS (NDS) Emulator Alpha Build by an anonymous PlayStation 3 developer.
To quote: "It is running very smoothly. I loaded up some games and they all played fine with the exception of the sound, which is not working in the current build.
Sorry for the short video. The noise in the background is my fan, as it really hot here these days, but it was not easy holding my 7" Samsung Galaxy Tab in my hand, while using the PS3 Controller on my lap."
The PS3 Nintendo DS (NDS) Emulator Alpha Build Demo is posted below with an official release pending.
