It appears as you somehow know the bricking risk involved in flashing a ps3. Also you know of the difficulty in acquiring a new usable system if you do anything wrong. (aka Sony repair won't help you much; buying a new system that is hackable is also a pain in the rear)
If you add those things things together how can you even think of using something that is out for a week not yet proven, if you rely so much on your system and have no resources to get to a working state?
If you do enough research you find well tested CFWs that were successfully many people. The instructions usually include things like clearly working upgrade paths from many firmware versions, QA flagging for easy downgrading and creating NAND dumps with multiman if something goes wrong.
Then, during your unprepared process, you get in panic and cause much more pain to yourself. If you had done your research, you could have avoided this.
I know that no one wants to read things like this, but then such sad things happen. And there is no easy way out of it now.
If this works, enable QA then install Rogero 3.55 v3.7. From there, install Rebug 4.30.2.

I get the recovery menu only when a non PS3 formatted HD is in the system during boot up.
So I got a step one fix my LT then go get 3.55 rogero 3.7 on my USB and do the same process as I did before getting through then reformat and hopefully this time I will get past the BSOD...
This is hard to swallow I'm sorry if I'm in a bit of a panic and flustered. I'm so broke right now it's not funny, and I've spend the day losing money I don't have to fix stuff I already bought. I am new to the scene and all the names of stuff, like Recovery and fail safe mode.
Recovery = the normal power button process, and the FSM is the power + eject button thing.
I really appreciate the help, I'm glad there is somebody trying to help me as I feel horribly alone. Can you please post a link to the files I will need on my USB to get started, I will swing by a friends and dl it to my USB. I don't have the money to fix my LT so hopefully my friend can make me a windows install disk and my original windows key works with it.
I'm having such tough times with my life, my PS3 was my escape and pass time through a very tough crappy time in my life.
Then get out of FSM, toggle_qa, install 3.55 OFW in recovery and you should be good to go.
Has fixed other people's BSOD with no writing before.
