Video: JFW DH PS3 CFW Preloader & Flash Dumping Without JIG


130w ago - Today Spanish PlayStation 3 developer DemonHades has shared another video of JFW DH PS3 CFW, this time demonstrating the USB Preloader and Flash dumping without a JIG extracting the backup of the 4 PS3 flash files on the Custom Firmware.

Just attach a pendrive, run with cheats and at the appropriate time, eject the ISO removing the pendrive. That works at least with Xploder 4 (if it’s necessary, you’ll have to eject the disc and insert it again: as soon as you detach the pendrive, the payload is disabled and the disc will work normally).
  • Fixed some bugs, like copying file when the USB is almost full.
  • All the payloads were modified to add a detection flag. That let you restart the console, for example, if you used multiMAN and the syscall 8 is inactive.

We continue in testing phase. In particular, I'm interested in receive reports from people that is having problems with black screens when they start the emulator (I got a check to see if the area of LV2 where I install is clean, but it could be the fcking of the instruction cache, therefore I have increased the number of cycles of the routine copy [+ laughs])

mahidi... had the same problem first... just follow the exact tutorial... check all the files u need! if only one file is missing it isn't working... i'm still waiting on a filemanager and dev_blind access....

also a last game like from mm would be great... so we can create xmb mount files... btw 8x4 cover sounds pretty good... i think this shouldn't be hard to do...

the only problem is if the developer will ever listen to our request... i will bet if he would add these futures a lot of people would say goodbye too mm...
