Finally, from dcskill: I'd like to explain what I did to fix the infinite loading screen problem, as follows:

1) Download the Last of us
2) Use PS3 splitter to split the 10gb file into 11 parts
3) Transfer the game (including the split files) with a method of your choice. I did NTFS External to my ps3 internal.
4) Open mmOS and transfer the game to your internal
5) Make a folder in the root of the main folder called "pak23". [ps3_game>usrdir>build>main]
6) Transfer the 11 part split file into that folder. MM should merge the split files into a 10gb file.
7) Copy the pak23 10gb, go back to the root of main folder (refer to #5 directory) and make a ghost copy
8) Test The Last of Us and it should be ~40 something gigabytes instead of the ~32gb.
9) Don't change any boot options in MM. Just load the game and wait 5 - 10 minutes for the loading screen. Anything longer and it didn't work.

Doing this, I have solved the problem. I am on 4.40 Rogero CFW.

By "repack" I think he means unpacking the .PKG file and then fixing the problem (by moving the "music" to where it belongs) and then repacking it. After all that you can install the fixed .pkg file, so you've essentially fixed the problem by installing a PKG. But It's much easier just to move the folder on multiMAN's file manager imo.

I am sorry, but how to repack? Do you mean after installing the fix (if we go thru the install fix package route) we still need to do something more?

they've repacked the game the wrong way i've heard

to avoid double install you can repack everything, include the "crack"

Apparently the original release (God.of.War.Ghost.of.Sparta.HD) was missing some music because of a misplacement of a folder.

You can fix this though without downloading the new release (God.of.War.Ghost.of.Sparta.HD.MUSIC.FIX).

Tutorial (Credits to ecnalab from PS3 iso):

[LIST=1]
[*]After installing the game use a FTP app or a file manager to access your Internal HDD.

[*]Go to /dev_hdd0/game/NPUA80636/USRDIR/data/

[*]Move the "music" folder to /dev_hdd0/game/NPUA80636/USRDIR/data/gos/

[*]After you've done that, you should have 4 folders "dialogs", "movies", "music", "packfiles" inside /dev_hdd0/game/NPUA80636/USRDIR/data/gos/

[*]You're done, no need to download the game again for the music to work.

What is that "God.of.War.Ghost.of.Sparta.HD.MUSIC.FIX" for? I have God.of.War.Ghost.of.Sparta.HD before, but I didn't see a music problem.. is that going to happen later on in the game?

Thanks in advance.
