36w ago - Following up on his
previous revision, today PlayStation 3 homebrew developer
Rogero has updated his PS3 Custom Firmware to version 3.6 for 3.55 CFW users with details on the changes below.

Rogero PS3 Custom Firmware (CFW) v3.6 /
Rogero PS3 Custom Firmware (CFW) v3.6 (Mirror)
To quote: v3.6 Changelog
- Updated the system version spoof to 4.25 to prevent accidental system updates --> at least from Game Discs ( internet/Sony communication is not blocked to allow future PSN access addition if possible, that's why you see the Update message when you try to Log-In to PSN ) so if anyone Insists to Update... go ahead, it's possible...
- Please note that this CFW is an update to v:3.4 , it doesn't have any 3.56/3.60 keys like the EXPERIMENTAL CFW v:3.5
It is so stable and doesn't have any problem with Blu-Ray discs playback because the loaders are not patched like they are in v:3.5

For those following, this PS3 Custom Firmware update comes just a few days after
PS3 System Software Update v4.25 was released by Sony.
What happens is even if you have the CFW on a USB , it takes the update from the disc.
What you can do though is get someone here to downgrade it for you. Or if its still qa flagged, then find an old game with older firmware, go into recovery and try installing the firmware again.
3.6 is just a version number of Rogero Firmware.
Did you have your PS3 qa flagged, and in recovery did you also have a disc in the drive?
