40w ago - Following up on the previous revision, today PlayStation 3 developer Rogero has updated his PlayStation 3 Custom Firmware to Rogero CEX 4.50 v1.00 PS3 CFW alongside a PS3 Flash Auto Patcher v4.50 update with details below.

Size: 194 MB (203,768,176 bytes).

To quote: The CFW is packed manually with minimal modifications of the OFW4.50 and only the needed PKGs were repacked with their matching headers, lv0 and the SPU loaders also properly packed with correct sections/compression. It does have all the basic patches from CFW4.46, the ToolBox was not added.

I built this last night before I go to sleep and installed it and tested it for 5 minutes only on my PS3, all seems fine and stable, but as usual with any CFW: Use it at your own Risk.

And here's the updated Tool for downgrading from OFW4.50.

I backed up GTA V to my internal hdd and have no issues. I just have disc in PS3 to play it. Mine is US version

Midnight club games should work fine on both internal / external. If you had previous eboot fix, update the game

I don't know about Marvel Super Heroes. A lot of games might require you to delete game data and then try again.

If the game was working before, it should still work now if you updated or changed to original eboot.

Check through this thread for Retail game fixes and or updates:

I tried the Marvel Super Hereos and Midnight club games. Now that i think about it there where a couple that didnt even make it back to xmb (GTA V) just stalled on a black screen and couldnt even use the controller to go back to xmb, had to manually press the power button on the console.

One thing kinda odd. I changed to this new cfw yesterday, updated a few games and they worked (the ones i updated). Now though i go to play one of those said updated games and it just boots back to xmb with no error code or anything. I try to go back and see if i need to updated again and it either said its up to date or info on the game couldn't be found.
What games go back to XMB. We probably could help more knowing the title of the game. Some games prefer internal over external or vice versa.

thank you windrider42, but my principal problem is that reactpsn doesn't work properly, cause it doesn't activate my placeholder. i followed all tutorials on the web but nothing to do. Account "aa" don't want to disappear automatically, then my ps2 classical placeholder r3 doesn't work.

I'm asking if it depends on rogero 4.55 v1.00. If yes, i will change into another cfw: but which of all?

tnx
