windrider42 for those wishing to play the game on CEX consoles as well.

HERE, and I only tested the 20+MB one so far on the USA (although it should also work on the BLES01465) release.
I replaced EBOOT on USB GAMEZ folder because it is a app EBOOT fix not an update EBOOT fix. Also make sure you do not install the 1.02 update, skip it when the game starts up.

Finally, as
zadow28 has now figured out the 4.25 decrypted appldr keys (below) following the
PS3 LV0 Key Leak it's important to note that this fix isn't really necessary any longer.

just extract to the USRDIR of your mafia 2 game. i got this from the russian special edition but works on EUR version of mafia 2 (BLES00521) may work for US version. other dlc missions were only in russian so i thought it useless to post.
if you don't have psn access then it won't work, but there are a way to make it work without psn.

backup your param.sfo and eboot.bin before copying over the files
after you backup and copy PARAM.SFO and EBOOT.BIN
install the 1.04 update PKG if you wish to have an updated games
this was taken from the russian special edition floating around but if you use the eboot.bin and param.sfo you can use english. sorry but the DLC missions won't work... only in russian...
