Hello, I have brought you a new mod for a game that most of you already know: Doom 3 BFG Edition. What this mod does, is bind several cheats to the default controller config (similar to RAGE), it assigns them to the dpad and the circle button (which, in game, does absolutely nothing)

The cheats (and the button assigned to them) are as goes: Dpad right enables and disables god mode, Dpad left enables and disables noclip,Dpad up gives you berserk, and Dpad down enables (cant disable, because of lack of binds) third person view.

Circle button gives you all the weapons for each respective campaign (remember, this only works on Doom 3 and both expansion packs: Lost Mission and Resurrection of Evil) I have give special thanks to bahumatlord for giving me a link with the commands (if anyone wants it, just ask me and i'll post it)

Controls:

Circle: Gives you all the Weapons for each Respective Campaign (remember,this only works on Doom 3 and both expansion packs: Lost Mission and Resurrection of Evil)
Right: Enables and Disables God Mode
Left: Enables and Disables Noclip (might cause crashing)
Up: Gives you Berserk
Down: Enables Third Person view.(no way to disable it on this config because of lack of binds)

Installation: Is simple just replace the file from your backup (this was only tested on the BLUS version don't know if it works on the BLES one as well)

i am just wondering if the update from Sony DOES help to make CODMW3 to work on 3.55CFW

there are 3 files in CODMW3 i think they should be modified in order to make it work:

EBOOT.BIN(73KB)
default.self (6,875KB)
default_mp.self (7,457KB)

firstly, i think this eboot is quite small and may be a pretty good start to look at it , however, the ORIGINAL EBOOT is JUST a mesh that can't be read by any readself etc.

however, i just download the update from https://a0.ww.np.dl.playstation.net/tpl/np/BLUS30838/BLUS30838-ver.xml and unpack the pkg using extractor from Mathieulh, the new eboot.bin is somehow shows normally !

i simply read the sdk_type (according to ps3devwiki.com/index.php?title=SELF_File_Format_and_Decryption#Metadata_Information)
it shows 0x13 , which is FW 3.65 and the readself.exe (i don't know if the newer readself2.c can read these info more correctly, as i don't have a compiled readself2 in win32) show it is NP-DRM.

if this is the case , would DUPLEX can already fix this, as:

1) it is now 3.65,
2) NP-DRM is not a problem for DUPLEX group.

If you have a lot of games that were modified to work on 3.41 FW you'll have to go off and look for all the original Eboot.bin files which is a real hassle. People don't feel the need to update to 3.55 CFW anyway.
