SSX 1.03 Game Update and Spoofer:
Guide from
opskie (using PS3 Slim 320gb, Kmeaw CFW 3.55 tested on BLUS30849):
Instructions:
1. Transfer the untouched SSX USA PS3 copy to your external or internal (PS3) HDD.
(if you already had replaced the original eboot and param in this folder with the earlier release of nodrm [SSX.EBOOT.PATCH.100.USA.PS3-N0DRM] and you don't have the original backup anymore, its ok, game still works for me anyways.)
2. Transfer the v1.03 PKG update and spoofer to your external HDD/Flash Drive.
3. Install the v1.03 SSX Update PKG and the spoofer pkg
4. Open Multiman or Awesome File Manager and go to the /dev_hdd0/game/BLUS30849 (NOTE: NOT THE SSX FOLDER!) directory and place the PARAM.SFO (nodrm) there replacing the old one and go inside the /dev_hdd0/game/BLUS30849/USRDIR/ (NOTE: NOT THE SSX FOLDER!) and place the EBOOT.BIN (nodrm) there replacing the old one. (NOTE: Remember to only replace the files in the said destination and not in the full game folder or it will not work)
5. Load the game and play. Enjoy!

Here is step by step a 100% sure fire way to get SSX (us) version working.
1. Do not replace any files. If you have here.. http://www.mediafire.com/?jqlg1w19488w6j4 and put original files back. If you have installed any data or saves delete all of it and start from scratch.
2. Download this patch and install through install package files. http://www.mediafire.com/?1gc46i5tv6j7nhd.
3. Thats it works internal/external. Do not set bd mirror on, do not do anything.
4. Play the game through multiman by just selecting the game. No select x no nothing. Works 100%
5. Easy peasy ENJOY.

• Using Rogero 4.41 v1.00 along with MM 4.40
• FTP'd all the files to the internal drive of the PS3 (including the big file that I split into 11 bits)
• Tried to create a folder in MMos called "Pak32" (call it what ever you want I guess.) in the "main" dir, where the split files currently are.
• Copied the split files to this new folder. MM copied them, but did not merge them
• What am I missing?
• On another note, do I even need to split them, if I FTP the big file from my PC directly to the PS3 internal HD? Isn't the restriction only relevant if I use fat32?
