I have tried all of these fixes in this thread, I am running 3.55 multiman and I even installed the 1.01 patch update and it still tries to load and immediately goes back to the XB screen with out any error messages...? Anyone have any ideas?

I am about to give up, tomb raider was almost this difficult but I finally got that one, this game is driving me to smoke some pot

I was unable to get any of these to work.

The Last of Us is best played from the internal hard drive of your PS3. It is similar to LA NOIR where players experienced the same audio glitches and graphical stutters when playing that title from external. So if you have the room place it internally for best performance.

i really didn't like the last of us. i'm returning my copy to eb on friday. looks nice and all i just found it boring.

i couldn't get it to work on cfw external though. guess i'll be waiting for ps4 to spend my cash..

It works great for me (3.55 Kmeaw + Multiman) with the eboot fix downloaded here - THE LAST OF US - BCES01584 - Retail Fix 3.41/3.55 CFW

I get The Last of Us and fortunately, it running just okay on my Rogero 4.30 PS3. Unfortunately, it have tons of glitches especially during the in game engine cutscene. Most of the time the character start to floating around and the audio is missing. Same thing happens when i try to grab and strangle enemy. I play it from external harddisk (multiMan required a 10 GB of game data to be installed though), is that the source of the problem?
