43w ago - Following up on his previous revision, this weekend PlayStation 3 developer Estwald has updated the PS3 backup game manager known as Iris Manager to version 2.11 with the changes detailed below.
Note: For PS3 games, rename the folder GAMES to GAMEZ on your external HDD device.
Finally, on the subject of PS3 scene DRM-infected dongle sell-out deank, Spanish PS3 homebrew developer Hermes / Estwald has stated the following, roughly translated (via elotrolado.net/hilo_aplicacion-iris-manager-v2-11_1862716_s230#p1731707893 and elotrolado.net/hilo_aplicacion-iris-manager-v2-11_1862716_s250#p1731719418):
Concerning Mr. Deank,
1) The syscall 8 I first added it. If a man goes and gets her routines, when a bunch of syscalls free and also could unify all these routines in a single syscall (as the 8, I repeat, SHOULD HAVE THE RESPECTED), the blame for what pass course, is.
If they pass the syscall 8 liner, why do I have to respect what makes another who has not respected space syscall 8?. The fault lies with them.
2) The syscall 8 LV1 occupy a peek at these firmwares, but nobody told me: I had to discover on my own, for I repeat, everyone here hides the letters, except me, that all that public I am not for nonsense. Easily could restore it, indeed, could camouflage the syscall to act of LV1 peek and syscall 8, but I get the balls
3) Being a LV1 Peek is safe to call that part, of course, but the culprit is who used it without thinking that it had a use. Incidentally, Deank, if you use the 10, son, that's LV1 Call on those firmwares!!
4) As you can see, I got a check that calls restart if it detects a payload that is not what it should be: what else I can do.
5) The PSX payload check the clearance before proceeding to install: if it is not installed. Now if someone puts something in that part and not even bother to tell me to find a solution ... then do not complain: I do not tell anyone the firmware that must be installed, and I say if using Iris Manager do poorly.
6) It is true that I have spoken usleep (did I have hidden?) But Deank has a funny way of saying things he knows or should have seen, in the code, which I intend to pass all except usleeps those associated with EBUSY loop, which allow only 1 ms and only affect the emulator.
Unfortunately and as one is human and to program in assembler is complicated, wrong comparison and actually did the opposite: I think it is not necessary to mount a circus to tell someone who has made a mistake somewhere (is it good to make public the sources that if you mess up and you see a bug, anyone can see for yourself).
7) If you use the syscall is because it is a much better way to go patching programs and more interesting for any self-respecting dev. At first I thought they were reading multiple sector by some problems I had, but then I saw that it was not really well (in fact, there was a bug that prevented the routine could read several sectors XD and I remember that I mentioned in the thread).
If you've got code for that routine can read various sectors, that should be so, although I have not tested if it really works well there a problem with that?. In fact, many of these routines could be used for other things and the code that I do not end result if not you can always improve and others can intervene, because this is an open source project that has, unlike other.
Anyway, Deank should know that certain games require more data than the supply. I am not perfect and I can make mistakes like everyone else, but if that smart is Deank based on what makes my job so much seems to criticize?.
Reminds me of the nonsense they let someone else at the time that I will not mention, who does not move past water mill.
By the way, everything I post is only partially tested by me: there should be no need to put the word BETA so that it is a BETA knew that in the end, add the word, just sounded cheap excuse for when something has failed: I do not need to hide my mistakes, that I have, like everyone else. Regards.
Good, was preparing a very long answer and in the end, I deleted. I'll just say two things:
1) The thin rope that ties me to the PS3 scene, is about to break. There is something to be surprising because as I said, Estwald and Hermes can be the same person, but not the same character and Hermes was already sick of many things. When you shake hands and begin to take the foot and when to say no to these "suggestions" as pestles that people are not more than "I happen to, but do you" and if you give a negative into a "well, if you do not want, do not do" with the aforementioned annoying (as if something ... You ought) and it begins to multiply, it asks what the hell are you doing here, other than that no that people imagine it for me with this or if I'm some kind of chacha or I that:
The blame is mine alone, that's obvious. Especially because it was already retired and taste and turned, knowing what I could find, but that error can be rectified quickly. I came to help porting D_Skywalk Iris Manager and I thought I would encourage it, but that goal is met, D_Skywalk not and I'm getting tired with the case ...
2) The second thing I'll say is that the source code is available for those who want to carry out their "suggestions" do it, no one stops them. And if you do not know, as they learn, as I learned and I am only learning new things all the time based work hard and prove much.
With this background, the last thing I need is people (and less so from home) to join something that long since I was not going to play, if you want it, you have the source code, compilers and libraries available to you and only you are asked to name the modifiquéis release: no easier you can make and yet you're wrong path and going in the direction that bothers me and you have spent less justified (at times well, I think: "wasted") hours of my time on developing both Iris, as porting libraries, compile other, attach all, etc, then have people follow the same "crap".
In short, it is business as usual and that these words will fall on deaf ears: do not even bother to explain me.

Following up on the previous updates, today PlayStation 3 developers Estwald and D_Skywalk have updated the PS3 backup game manager known as Iris Manager to version 2.65 with the changes detailed below.
To quote, roughly translated: What's new in version 2.65:
Added supports for CFW 4.50 DEX and 4.53.
Added tools to create, extract and patch ISOs (Error 0x80010009) from PC (with source code and can be compiled at least from MinGW and Cygwin).
Added the ability to create, copy, delete ISOs (except in EXTx ) and extract ISOs from Iris Manager.
Added Error 0x80010009 fix for updates and ISOs (except EXTx) from the "Check Files" option.
New rawseciso (source code included in the. rar) with some bugs fixes and improvements against errors (even allows disconnect/reconnect the device), and includes support for HDD0, USB00X through a new mode (see launch_iso_game () in Iris Manager source code) and a mixed mode file/list of sectors for the Build ISO (see launch_iso_build () in Iris Manager source code).
In Archive Manager now supports Build ISO in all devices (FAT32/NTFS/EXTx) and detects extensions .mkv, .avi, .mp4, .ogm, .mpg as multimedia video files to launch "Showtime".
Now the current game is saved to return to that game during the game refresh and the last game launched to show when connect the device that contains it.
Added exception in the Archive Manager to detect if an ISO launched from a "BD ISO" folder is taken as Bluray Video.
Fixed several bugs like filenames too long in Archive Manager and added other small details and optimizations (such as now when a device with NTFS/EXTx partitions is detected, the USB icon appears blue during the waiting time before mounting.
Following up on his previous revisions, this weekend PlayStation 3 developer aldostools updated the PS3 backup game manager known as IrisMAN (Iris Manager) to version 2.60B-8 with the changes outlined below.

Following up on the previous update, today PlayStation 3 developer aldostools updated the PS3 backup game manager known as Iris Manager to version 2.60B-1 followed by some unofficial updates with the changes outlined below.
To quote: well, as everyone is creating his own fork... I decided to make my own fork.
It is not intended to be a competition entry nor a replacement of any manager. I made this fork just for FUN (and for educational purposes)... Do not expect any new fancy feature... it is basically the same 2.60B (with all the Cobra stuff added by Estwald) with IMHO a better button layout and a couple of cosmetic changes. For respect to the original dev, I didn't use a different name and just added the term "(mod)".
Holding L2 or R2 when the program starts you can go directly to File Manager. Some of the changes are:
Select + Start access the File Manager (like multiMAN)
L1 / L2 in File Manager scroll by page
Left Dir / Right Dir changes to focus to left/right (top/down) panel (formerly L1/R1)
Select + O prompt if you want to exit to XMB from File Manager
O on the Game List asks if you want to exit to XMB
Triangle is menu (like in XMB)
Select + O on the Game List asks if you want to reboot the PS3
Triangle is menu (like in XMB)
O is cancel (like in XMB)
L2 + Start switches between coverflow/game list
I was going to keep it for personal use, but I think someone could find it useful and use the changes that I made to improve the Manager.
Update: Ok, I changed the ID to IRISMAN00.... For the moment I "changed" the name to "Iris MANager (mod)". Obviously the "MAN" in uppercase is a direct allusion to multiMAN (most of the changes were made to resemble it). If someone can suggest a better name... I can change it....
PS. the version with the new name has now 3 GUI modes: grid 6x4 from PS3ITA, the original grid 4x3 and the recent coverflow.
PS2. Although the file name still says "IMANAGER4", the content ID is "UP0001-IRISMAN00_00-VER260BMOD000003"
Holding L2 or R2 when the program starts you can go directly to File Manager. Some of the changes are:
Buttons / Function
Start + Select: Access the File Manager (like multiMAN)
L1 L2: In File Manager scroll by page
Left / Right: Changes to focus to left/right (top/down) panel (formerly L1/R1)
Select + O: Prompt if you want to exit to XMB from File Manager
O: On the Game List asks if you want to exit to XMB
Triangle: On the Game List asks if you want to exit to XMB is menu (like in XMB)
Select + O: On the Game List asks if you want to reboot the PS3
Triangle: Is menu (like in XMB)
O: Is cancel (like in XMB)
L2 + Start: Switches between coverflow/game list
Added option to disable the integrated fan control utility (it does not try to load the payload)
This is an unofficial version of Iris Manager 2.60B. This version includes all the nice Cobra features added by Estwald. The changes that I made are mainly related to the user interface (buttons layout are more XMB-like, quick access to File Manager, progress bar when game list is scanned, colors, 3 gui modes, etc.).
It also includes the Payloads for 4.41DEX/4.46DEX/4.50DEX and the grid 6x4 from Rancid-O's PS3ITA Manager. The most notable feature is that unlike the official version, it scans GAMES/GAMEZ/GAMES_DUP/GAMES_BAD on the external drives.
Now scans for PS3 games in the following folders: /GAMEZ, /GAMES, /GAMES_DUP, /GAMES_BAD (external drive)
The Yes/No dialogs can be cancelled with CIRCLE
Added payloads for 4.41DEX, 4.46DEX, 4.50DEX from PS3ITA (all the credits to Rancid-o / Zz_SACRO_zZ)
In File Manager, the O now acts like multiMAN's mmOS (show file menu) (exit to Game List with Select + Start -> same as multiMAN)
Now there is a progress bar when games are being scanned
Quicker access to the File Manager with L2 or R2 when the program starts (now it does not scan the game list)
Exit from File Manager does not scan the game list unless there was a copy/delete/move activity (use R3 if you need to refresh the list)
Now it also has mode 6x4 from PS3ITA for a total of 3 modes (coverflow, 6x4, 4x3). (I had many freeze issues with the mode 8x6, so I didn't add it)
Changed the Tilte ID to "IRISMAN00" to avoid conflict with Iris (official version).
Auto preview images in FM (.png, .jpg)
Support to .ISO.0 (uppercase) in FM
Custom ftp commands (SITE SHUTDOWN, SITE REBOOT)
Added auto-launch of PSX ISO if found in /USRDIR/ps1_iso/ (now you can create your own bootable PSX isos on non-cobra CFW or replace the self+eboot in PS1toPS3's USRDIR folder to run it on CFW 4.46-4.50).
Fixed bug: ISOs were listed 4 times
Improved mount last game (holding L1 when the program starts)
Improved PSX ISO split list: now can be cancelled, use UP/DOWN to select
File Manager is more responsive, EBOOT and ISOs are listed in green
Fixed freeze accessing Game Option from grid 4x6.
Added GUI mode 8x6 from PS3ITA (now there are 4 GUI modes)
Added memory card configuration launching IRISMAN and holding L1/R1 when a PSX ISO exists in USRDIR/ps1_iso/
More bug fixes.
Fixed a bug that caused an exit to XMB while changing the settings in the GUI modes 6x4 and 8x6.
Added a progress bar to Fix File Permissions.
