Hi all,

I'm on Habib 4.46 v2.05. I had problems with cinavia too. I didn't update the new Habib CFW yet but I did the homebrew Habib MOD v1.1. So after deactivating of cinavia I tried to play a BD disc but after 20mins cinavia turned up. So I had to go to showtime player in multiman and start playing from the file explorer (M2TS, I selected the movie file). This way it seems to be fine, after 45 mins there is still no cinavia.

My question is is there any way to play a movie with cinavia from XMB?

I forgot to mention that I tried that but it was giving a corrupt error. Re-downloaded HABIB and it's installing now.

Whilst I'm here... what's the difference between the STEVEN release?

But you were already on habib from what you wrote before this? You don't need to downgrade to 3.55, that would require you going into a recovery menu and installing the 355 downgrader pup and then rebooting and reinstalling the habib. It should just work after formatting the new HDD without having to do any downgrade. What happens if you try and install the HABIB from the recovery menu?

Accessing the PS3 Recovery Menu (Safe Mode)

1. With the system in standby mode. Press and hold the power button down until the system turns on and then off again. Release the power button. Very important to hold the power button until the console shuts off and to release the power button before continuing to step 2.

2. After about 1 - 2 seconds press and hold the power button again, until you hear 2 consecutive beeps. Release the power button. During this step you will actually here three beeps. There will be one single beep then a short delay followed by the 2 consecutive beeps. Only release the the power button after the 2 consecutive beeps.

3. You will then be instructed to plug in a controller, via the usb cord, and press the PS button.

4. At this point the PS3 Recovery Menu will be shown on the screen.

From that menu select option System Update (with your HABIB usb plugged in)

I haven't owned a console since the original XBOX, so I'm very unfamiliar with the PS3.

I bought a 3.55 PS3 and installed the Latest Rogero and then HABIB CEX 4.50 V1.03 over the top and have been playing internal games just fine.

I bought a 1TB HDD that I received this morning. I assumed I'd have to format the drive (which I did), install OFW 3.55 and then HABIB... but the PS3 says I am on 4.50. I tried to istall HABIB but I get "No applicable update date was found". (Yes, it's FAT32-- PS3>UPDATE>PS3UPDAT.PUP.)

Do I just need to make a backup of the original drive instead?
