109w ago - This weekend the Spanish PlayStation 3 developers at DemonHades have announced that JBM 3.55 PS3 CFW is now in development, which will offer the best of JFW DH 3.56 MA in a new Custom Firmware.

To quote, roughly translated: Making decisions for the future of JFW-DH

Hello friends first of all like demons to thank you for trusting in JFW356MA as custom of your PS3, as you well know the PS3 scene is going through difficult times because of the dominance of DRM dongles, these dongles are set to 355, for structure and kernel.

As you know many of you in MA you have had problems when running certain applications mainly due to this reason which we have all we can to resolve, but we are aware that this balance in trying to adapt all our MA giving us more work to realization of new and abundant applications for JFW.

We have been thinking about these obstacles in which we double slaughter, we play in making new things and other things that appear in portage other devs submitting to more pressure and therefore more cramped.

As happened a few days with the PSN and spoof, had it not been for that we have been watching Black ubiesemos us as if other custom could, and I as a responsible community dh I can not want it to happen.

Yesterday was published the USERCHEAT, which only works on FW 355 canceled leaving us because we have to be 2 things again, and which work for portearlo takes time and patience ... and that is not profitable.

PUP reinstall either, nor recasar readers etc... making a calculation are more impediments to improvements in the 356.

And I freaking have to be me who has to say this, but in statistical framework and the 356 gives us more problems when it comes to offer diversity in short-term progress.

So the thing is so, it will create the JBM355 with all the best with the 356MA, thegrid, preloader, service packs, plugins, etc. and so and you will not be canceled and which will stay at ease and can focus solely on the accomplishment of tasks for JFW and no more ports.

If the TB, COBRA or other drops will be the first to have the 355 and that does not forgive me dejandos without the possibility of having the same or more.

So the thing is so, we will make a collective downgrade JBM355 cease to provide support to 356MA, waiting for so more people can know our fantastic custom and is much easier to return to another 355 by a pup.

I know this is not going to like some people, but if you read carefully will know the reason for this decision, because it is better to change the direction that never crash and demons

But I want to thank everyone who every day have been helping and giving their PS3, as kike, kiki, maki, Cheko, alvaro and of course the devs that created without rokiski MA, JaiCraB, blipi, and I blackdeath what little they could do but at heart would not be possible to have everything we have in MA, so I want to thank you.

1saludo and look forward to all your support for me and the team that formed the JFW we will continue to bring you many new things cane but this time in the JBM355

Update: Checko, do not be HURRY TO DOWNGRADE BECAUSE THE BEST WE WOULD WAIT FOR THE FIRST VERSION OF JBM 3.55

The time will put everyone on your site ... and while attentive to the site.

Following shortly after yesterday's revision, today Spanish PlayStation 3 developer Estwald has updated the PS3 backup game manager known as Iris Manager to version 1.60 Beta 3 followed by Beta 4 with the changes detailed below.

To quote, roughly translated: Well, given that D_Skywalk is "low" paternity and asked me to open a new thread, to update it, that I do, taking advantage we have new version

What's new:

1.60 Beta 3 Changelog:

  • Improved emulation ps1_emu. Fixed some bugs, besides adding security enhancements. There is no sound cuts so annoying, anymore.
  • Fixed problem with Internal_MC that were wrong (which should have got 0xa0 instead of 0x0a )
  • Added ability to create a formatted Internal_MC (Video / Others)
  • Added the ability to run ps1_netemu.self and ps1_emu.self from Iris directory (if they are copied to /dev_hdd0/game/IMANAGER4. This opens the possibility (with a proper resign), to use emulators from a upper firmware in a lower one, and can be used patched or not)

1.60 Beta 4 Changelog:

  • Improveed ps1_emu emulation . now work games like Vagrant Story or Resident Evil
  • Added mode 3 to payload_storage to let launch the ISO for the cheats disc having a PSX disc on the drive. Just attach a pendrive, run with cheats and at the appropriate time, eject the ISO removing the pendrive. That works at least with Xploder 4 (if it’s necessary, you’ll have to eject the disc and insert it again: as soon as you detach the pendrive, the payload is disabled and the disc will work normally).
  • Fixed some bugs, like copying file when the USB is almost full.
  • All the payloads were modified to add a detection flag. That let you restart the console, for example, if you used multiMAN and the syscall 8 is inactive.

We continue in testing phase. In particular, I'm interested in receive reports from people that is having problems with black screens when they start the emulator (I got a check to see if the area of LV2 where I install is clean, but it could be the fcking of the instruction cache, therefore I have increased the number of cycles of the routine copy [+ laughs])

Regards

Following up on his previous update, today Spanish PlayStation 3 developer Estwald (aka Hermes) has updated the PS3 backup game manager known as Iris Manager to version 1.60 Beta 2 with the changes below.

Download: [Register or Login to view links] / [Register or Login to view links] (Mirror) / [Register or Login to view links] (Mirror #2)

To quote, roughly translated: Well, given that D_Skywalk is "low" paternity and asked me to open a new thread, to update it, that I do, taking advantage we have new version

First of all, I would like to put three conditions:

1) I do not carry version control, because in github I canceled, I have no desire to go back to those bastards and git all problems are often under Windows, as not handle http addresses. So I'll post a RAR and point and if someone wants to take control of versions, back on, but for now, I'm not.

2) The official version is that we D_Skywalk and me. Your contributions are welcome, within a limit, it has been said that the GUI should be the same, basically, and not be breaking the application schema. That does not mean that you may not go it alone and break it in your own way, you will have to call but then otherwise your application, by request of D_Skywalk.

Obviously, if the changes are minor, no need to change the application name, but it is not in competition, if not collaboration. If that is respected, I have no objection to lend you aid, etc.

3) The third condition is rather a request that anyone who drives the Wiki, should be an entry "Iris Manager" to link it in this post and facilitaros the task if you or any morning for example, I abandoned the project.

And now, to the point: What's new:

  • Added PSX emulation syscall level: it is no longer necessary to patch the emulators and versions can delete "patched"
  • Works with ps1_netemu. Moreover, it is my choice RECOMMENDED smoother and games will I have to go wrong with ps1_emu, here are perfect
  • Files are needed. Cue with the same name as the. Bin. Img, etc, to describe the audio tracks. If it contains only the binary data, Iris Manager generates its corresponding TOC. psx_storage default also generates a TOC enough for this type of game. As I can complete wakefulness psx_storage operation.
  • Ability to load an external ROM to allow access to the transmission Memory Card (getting into a file dev_hdd0/game/IMANAGER4 ps1_rom.bin).
  • If you press CIRCLE + EQUIS with external ROM enabled, runs ejected disc so you can access the PSX MC Manager without having to disconnect the USB device. Unplugging / replugging once, the disc will be mounted and run.

More details IMPORTANT iso.txt psx 1.60, within the file Rar.

Regards

Finally, from butnut comes some related feedback, as follows: With version 1.60 beta 2, Chrono Cross does not freeze when you go into the status screen, and Vigilante 8 has working music too (V8 requires .cue file)

mahidi... had the same problem first... just follow the exact tutorial... check all the files u need! if only one file is missing it isn't working... i'm still waiting on a filemanager and dev_blind access....

also a last game like from mm would be great... so we can create xmb mount files... btw 8x4 cover sounds pretty good... i think this shouldn't be hard to do...

the only problem is if the developer will ever listen to our request... i will bet if he would add these futures a lot of people would say goodbye too mm...
