14w ago - Following up on their previous update, today Sony revealed some details on PS4 System Software / Firmware Update 1.70 which includes Share Enhancements and HDCP Off, may include PlayStation 4 game sorting and is incoming next week according to industry insider Tidux via NeoGAF.

Below are the details, to quote: "One of the touted features to be included in PS4 Firmware Version 1.70 was an editing suite. While Sony didn't provide any details about what exactly the suite would allow you to do, any upgrade is a welcomed upgrade from the Share features current video editor.

According to AV Forums user Cha1ky (via avforums.com/threads/ps4-firmware-update-1-61.1855953/page-6#post-20478251), the video suite might not be ready in time for the upcoming update. When asked by members of the forum about the arrival date of the update, Cha1ky stated that it should be this month... around [April] 22nd-25th.

A day before Sony officially announced firmware 1.70 and its features, Cha1ky leaked what it would include in a post: I'm sure the next big (1.70) firmware will have some nice features... perhaps.

Be good to see a video editing suite... the ability to remove videos from the PS4 via USB or record onto external devices... dim the light bar perhaps... amongst other things.

I'd certainly welcome the ability to remove the videos and put them on my PC for editing. Although I also wish i could set the quality.

Might keep my eye out for a proper recording device in preparation for recording via HDMI..."

From Tidux (via neogaf.com/forum/showpost.php?p=108161055&postcount=908), to quote: "plans to announce this week, and release the next. that was all // Tidux"

Tidux also stated (via neogaf.com/forum/showpost.php?p=108160743&postcount=905) the following: "for all you who want to be able to sort your games, they're working on it but do not know if they have time to sneak it into the 1.7 FW."

To recap, the incoming PlayStation 4 1.70 Firmware update is confirmed to include the removal of HDCP, the ability to export videos to a USB, better Twitch support, and other unannounced features alongside the unconfirmed and rumored PS4 game sorting option.

It was fixed as of this article: [Register or Login to view links]

Try to do a hard-reload (CTRL+F5) or clear your Web cache, history, temp files etc and give it another try. If it still doesn't work, let me know your browser info so we can try to replicate the issue and investigate further.
