Indeed... it seems Sony likes "November 17" release dates hehe, that is when the PS3 first launched here in North America in 2006.

Well those new PS3s would probably have a higher firmware than 3.70 or thay will probably be blocked from downgrade...

Otherwise I think I would go and get myself a Red one... Hmm wonder if you can flash a Jp PS3 with an US firmware to get it to become as an american PS3... I think the JP PS3s has X function button as the O button... weird that they don't have it in the same place on all PS3s I think...wonder what the reason can be tho... (can always use rogero's key changer)

My v1.10 launch PS3 has HDMI, but I had to buy my own cable.

It was very cheap of them considering how little it would have cost them per cable bulk ordered, but with the Ps3's inflated launch price I guess they needed to save money anywhere possible.

I agree with you, boss. I love my two black ps3 with their respective black controllers. However the opportunity to chose the colour isn't so bad.

No hdmi cable included? It's normal, sony wants to sell you its hdmi cable. About me stands a curiosity: who owns a sony hdmi cable?
