Sony Unveils New PS3 160GB Killzone 3 Bundle, Hits February 22

200w ago - Sony PlayStation 3 Marketing Manager Kim Nguyen has unveiled a new PS3 160GB Killzone 3 bundle today, which is slated to hit retailers on February 22, 2011.

To quote: We know you're anxiously awaiting the release of Killzone 3, and now you can join the war against the Helghast with a Limited Edition PS3 160GB Killzone 3 Bundle. For those of you who are still on the fence and just waiting for the reason to buy a PS3, now is the time.

Already own a PS3? Convince your buddies to buy the bundle so you can both play some of the most extensive multiplayer experiences on a first-person shooter. The Killzone 3 bundle includes the 160GB PS3 system as well as a copy of Killzone 3 - all launching February 22 for $299.99 (MSRP).

As you know, Killzone 3 is the next installment of the Killzone franchise, with levels 10 times the size of Killzone 2. You can expect an intense single-player campaign and as mentioned above, extensive multiplayer mode, utilizing new weapons and vehicles.

I just bought the killzone 3 console and it came with 3.55 surprisingly, but doesn't matter already updated to 3.60 it's my secondary console

Looking for a second console for PSN. Might get this and save the cost of getting Killzone 3. Kinda curious about the release date of the 'revised' console in the works, though.

i would like to buy this if it got killzone 3 art on it other then that there is no reason for me to buy one more as i already got 1 with 1 TB HDD.

its nice they didnt knock up the price some though so they are throwing in the game for free, better than some greatest hits 1-2 year old kid games that theyve given away in the past.

If the console had some cool kz3 design or bigger HD, more usb ports etc... something to distinguish it from your run of the mill 160gb slim consoles already all over the place I mightve considered this as the second console I plan to buy.

this is true. I don't understand why Sony does this I mean all they are doing is putting the KILLZONE 3 disk in the box with the console LOL. Would be cool to see an actual KZ3 kit textured with a helmet or something from the game.

Another thing, I bought the move bundle 300GB for 300$. Wonder why this is the same price but a smaller HDD?
