199w ago - The Examiner.com (linked above) is reporting news of an incoming Sony PSN service update. Upon logging in to investigate further, the following are now shown under the PSN Services section:
• Screen: Media Go!
• Screens: PlayStation Store for Games 1, 2 and 3
• Screen: Video Delivery Service
• Screens: SensMe
It's no surprise that Sony is constantly expanding their PSN services- which currently include PlayStation Home, the PlayStation Store and a movie/television rental service (among others) as the PS3 is indeed a multimedia console.
What's in the cards remains to be seen, but until then some screens from the services detailed above are available, and to quote:
On their official press site, Sony has an official PSN tab and it lists all the available services for PS3 owners to take advantage of. Well, Sony just updated their press site and under their PSN service section, they list a new link that is tentatively titled "Coming Soon" - which is currently unavailable to open.
Will Sony be announcing a new PSN service in the near future? Or will it be part of the Thursday store update? I have high doubt it's the rumored PlayStation Cloud service, but it's definitely something. For it to be on the site now, Sony must be planning to unveil it shortly.
