previous release, this weekend PlayStation 3 developer
SubJunk has updated PS3 Media Server to version 1.50.0 Beta 2 for Windows, Linux and Mac which includes several bug fixes as detailed below.

To quote: Built from SVN r970. Released as beta because some code changes haven't been widely tested yet. No new features have been added since 1.50.0 Beta 1 but many bugs have been fixed.

- Updated MediaInfo to 0.7.50 from 0.7.47

pretty sure you can do that already - just save your image in a folder (I called mine "Images" and add the following line with correct image file name!) to the relevant .conf file (found in C:\Program Files\PS3 Media Server\renderers\)
i.e. PS3.conf in your case:-

Just uninstall the older version and install the newer one.

It is recommended to back up and remove your old PMS.conf and re-enter and save your settings (if any) in the GUI. Alternatively (e.g. if you have a large number of customizations you wish to preserve), see the upgrade notes for previous major releases (e.g. 1.50.0, 1.60.0 &c.) for migration instructions.
