PlayStation Network Regular Scheduled Maintenance

154w ago - Update: As confirmed by several users, PSN has now been restored to service from the regular scheduled maintenance.

Today Sony's Sr. Director of Corporate Communications & Social Media Patrick Seybold has confirmed that PlayStation Network will undergo maintenance today, June 9th, 2010.

To quote: Maintenance is expected to start at 8am Pacific and will last for several hours, until approximately 8:30pm Pacific.

During this time, users won't be able to access the PlayStation Store or Account Management, and may encounter some difficulty while signing in to PSN.

Stay tuned to the PlayStation Twitter feed for updates and a notice when PSN is fully back online.

We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause.

the network is back up in europe but the store can not be accessed yet.

Several hours is from 8am-8Pm? I though just like 3-4 hours haha but wow, i wonder what could they be fixing up or cleaning up to last that whole time.
