198w ago - Perhaps Sony's PlayStation 3 just won the console war, for some anyway.
Kotaku (linked above) reports today that Japan's
DDM.tv is bringing on-demand Blu-ray quality HD adult movies to the PS3.
Apparently the
service requires a broadband connection, an HDMI cable and a PS3 console... the only device the service works with presently.
To quote: "Before downloading the movies for a fee, users must log onto the DMM.tv Blu-ray Web site and can search for titles like by keywords, actress, genre, etc.
Discerning titles include the likes of
Yuma Asami and the 100 M'baters. All hundred of them. On your PS3. In full HD. Yeah."

Is that so? because I don't know a single girl who loves more because of the PS3, although my girlfriend likes to spend a lot of time in my bedroom (guess now I know why) ..... just kidding.
The important thing here is that this kind of content (sexy content ) is what always pushes the media formats to new levels. I remember when the Bluray thing began, someone (whose name I don't rememeber) said that if Sony wanted the Bluray to be THE HD media format, well, they have to start to think in the adult material (which now they did).
But really, who buy porn these days?
