European PSN Game Store Updates for February 9, 2011

119w ago - SCEE's Ross McGrath of the PlayStation Store Team is here with this weeks European PSN game store updates today.

To quote: The new contents where we go believing because of you, including the monopolistic article of splendidly new PSN, Explodemon this week it possesses!

No, I haven't quite gone completely off the deep end yet, this is merely my homage to Curve Studios' PSN-Exclusive Explodemon!, which hits the Store today. You are tasked with saving your world from evil alien invaders by blowing yourself up repeatedly and often - this is exactly why video games were invented as far as I'm concerned. But Explodemon is only one of the great titles we have for you today...

Stacking (which is being given away in Plus this week) is the latest adventure/puzzler from Double Fine, following the story of Charlie, full time chimney sweep and Russian doll, as he attempts to save his family from the evil Baron.

Tales from Space: About a Blob gives you the chance to be part of your own sci-fi B-movie as you make your way through colourful environments, mercilessly devouring all in your path to become an unstoppable force of blobitude (yes, it is a word).

We also have the ultimate 'Breakout' experience for you in the form of Ricochet HD, the last word in horticultural-based undead defence via Plants vs. Zombies and the digital edition of Assassin's Creed II (this is the GOTY edition with the DLC included).

We have demos for PS3 and PSP, new DLC for Mass Effect 2, Test Drive Unlimited 2 and The Sims 3, XMB themes with a suitably Valentines feel and some new avatars for you all to enjoy. They're not even EyePet ones. And don't forget the discounted 90-day subscription for DC Universe Online!
